Contra costa sheriff deputy. Some of the charges include engaging in a lewd act in a public place, engaging in an act of prostitution, and knowingly and without permission conducting a search of the official criminal justice data and Computer System without an authorized purpose. Wednesday mayor libby schaaf held a press conference for the city issue notice of intent to discipline 12 officers. Four are recommended for termination. Which we learned that some of these officers are no longer with the force. Seven officers are facing suspension without pay. And one officer will receive counseling and training. For now guap is in florida, but the da believes shell return to the bay to help their case. It is our expectation and in our communications that when the time comes she will be coming into court to testify against the officers in the cases. And now all the charges are just proposed because according to omalley, guap needs to be in town for those charges to be official. Omalley says that evidence shows other incidents that may have occurred in San Francisco, contra costa, and san joaquin counties. But since they are outside alameda, she has no say. Now those facing felony charges are from contra costa and two current officers from oakland. Heather . Well need to wait and see what happens with those investigations, thank you. Our Crime Reporter henry lee joins us with more of the officers who have been charged. Henry, you had a busy day. What did you learn . Frank, some of these officers have resigned or retired. That they are no longer facing the administration and certainly not immuned to the criminal charges. Ricardo perez resigned in june from the contra costa police department. He has been charged of engaging with a minor and performing lewd acts in public. Just this week this is his picture from the linkedin page. Charged of lewd acts in public. Oakland Police Officer brian bunn was charged of obstruction for justice for allegedly tipping off guap to undercover prostitution stings. And another oakland officer, was charged with searching Law Enforcement data bases without the official purpose. The Alameda County da says that he had sexual contact with guap in contra costa. But the da says that no cases involving them have classified them here. Carol smith was charged with searching the data bases for no reasons. I learned that they investigated, but decided not to prosecute smith on charges that he sexually assaulted guap in a richmond park. She was 18 at the time. Guap texted me this picture showing me this exchange between her and smith, which he threatened to kill himself saying, you it it again, it is all your fault. I hope that youre happy and youre the devil. Oakland Police Sergeant johnson who was retired has been charged of failing to report the misconduct. An oakland officer seen here in another picture sent to me by guap was charged for a sex act with a minor. The oakland Police Officer sergeant said that the actions of a few are disappointing, but they want to remind those of oakland that the overwhelming majority of oakland Police Officers are out there working hard for our community. Alameda da Nancy Omalley says that two other officers involved with guap, they have no jurisdiction there and the same goes with king county where a federal Police Officer has been accused of offering to pimp celeste guap. Thats right. Nancy omalley says that they have not found any others to prosecute them here now. What about getting a new police chief . They have their share of problems, but one is that they do not have the chief, but they have this in the wind . Crews in lafayette are mopping up the scene of a house fire this afternoon. That fire broke out just after 1 00 on the 3300 block of betty lane just off st. Marys road. Crews say that smoke and roads are visible from the front door when they arrived on scene. That there were no injuries. The cause is under investigation. Ten people are injured this morning when an suv plowed into a Community College classroom. It happened at 9 00 this morning as solano Community College in fairfield. The male driver suffered some sort of emergency medical emergency and swerved right into the building. The classroom was filled with students taking a math test at the time. Seven people including the driver all had to be taken to the hospital. One of the students was trapped between the suv and the wall. Fridays on campus arent as crowded. And they were taking place. There is fog at the coast and that they are getting shorter, nights are getting longer as you would feel it out there. Some places down to the upper 40s with the cool isolated temperatures, the upper 40s. A lot of the fog out there right now and with us all weekend. Deep marine layers that will be getting inland as well. We are talking about the gusty on shore winds to keep that pattern, well, its not hot unless, you know, if you are in fairfield and that youre into the low 90s. Which is, i dont know at this time of the year that it will be very warm, but i wouldnt call it hot. Around the bay, we will talk about the temperatures the next couple of days and mostly in the 70s and the 80s. As you would look at their current shot that youll see San Francisco, 57 degrees. There will be a lot of fog here right now. That we are dealing with basically better air quality than what we have seen and that we have better air quality than seeing temperatures in san jose in the mid70s so it is not bad at all. The fog for the coast tomorrow morning, the forecast model to look at the coast that it is everywhere. All nine bay area counties. It will burn off and then tomorrow a lot like today and youll see the temperature footprint showing you a lot of 70s and 80s over the bay area. There is your 90s with the hot spots. Well here is 100 just down here towards stockton. Most of those numbers taking you to the east side of the valleys will be taking you up there. That you will probably pick up the upper 90s. Overnight lows in the 50s. Look at this here 50. And you will find 48 to 49 degrees, pretty darn chilly with that fog. Its extending down to the south where there is a lot of fog. For your bay area weekend and saturday a lot like today, but then the big changes will be coming as we head towards your bay area on sunday. Were told that the parents of the family and the Community Leaders and friends are all in attendance tonight. Its been a day of fast moving developments in the growing protest over an oil pipeline. All due to temporarily stop their construction on the 4 billion access pipeline. But federal authorities asked them to voluntarily pause construction in order to review their permits. As they say that it will be a pipeline to harm their water supply and destroy their sacred native american sites. We provided evidence of that site that were directly in the pipeline drought. They would try to engage their students by sharing the personal experience and that it is someone that would enlist in the air force when they were not much older that night students are now. Showing their personal photos, trying to explain what it was like to be there. And that you could show their artifacts for them to grasp what would happen in 9 11. Over at college prep, it will be a group of students who will be trying to help educate their peers. Each year that the Young American for the freedom club will place flags on the quad, one for each life lost. You see this hill over here covered in flags that it hits you. Like thats a lot of people. Yes, until this day, best friends with the godchild family. And i am in contact with the mother of the firefighter who was lost on that day. And of course that our nation changed in a big way some 15 years ago. As they say that some kids in high school, that they were not even born yet when we were attacked on 9 11. But now they think that other smaller faults near major faults could also erupt at the big fault and if it does create far greater and widespread damage. And so they use that giant corkscrew to try to unlock the secrets of the bay areas hidden earthquake faults. We need to know if they are connected. And how wide that zone of connected faults is. Instead of being a few hundred feet wide that it could be just miles wide. Some of those dangerous smaller faults are currently unknown. There are other faults out here that were going to look at. They will definitely improve it, which First Responders use. They were placed into the holes, sending information to ground sensors when detonated. And this will help investigators create the three dimensional picture of their service in and around that fault. That picture will tell scientists which ones are connected. And it is quite serious because they could be above that fall zone, which will be scheduled to still travel from that nearby fault, which will be infected. And that it will be very intense shaking up along the fault lines. Now monday, they will start being triggered across the similar system that will be set up in their napa valley painting their own subsection picture there to prevent more damage. Now, tom more than two weeks after they found that there was a fourlegged rescue today . Yeah. Yes. Firefighters found a cat and that one of the towns worst hit by that quake, it is not clear though if they were trapped under that rubble or if perhaps that it was buried under the rubble following the aftershock that nonetheless it is safe and sound. If you like today, and weve got numbers that will be very similar to what we have today and on sunday that things will be turning around, dropping off extensively. That we might see that up in the sierra and the nevada area, which will be very fall like and to migrate our way. It is not the same where they were yesterday. And almost exactly the same in some places. With a lot of fog along the coast. That it will be south of their miles of fog that it will be sticking too and coming in through the gate already. And that well be seeing plenty of fog tonight and tomorrow night and then on sunday night as well. As you will be looking at the forecast that it will be just three to four days. And that it will be for your sunday morning. It is pretty significant and then watch what will change here for you and on monday. This is sort of the falllike pattern and that it will be dropping down on tuesday and wednesday. Starting to exert itself on the far bank chewing it up, including blowing up the conversion. It will wipe out the fire danger next weekest e pearly towards early monday. Well see a few showers up on lake tahoe and maybe a little bit of snow in the cascades, a little bit of snow here. Tomorrow will be a lot like today. Then sunday the low Pressure Center will drop down and come right back down to the Central Valley on the spine of the sierra and nevada line. It will create breezy conditions, which is not good for fire, but it will be much cooler bringing it in a dry system in terms of rain and humidity, but it will be much cooler. I mean the hot spots on wednesday, they are going to be in the 70s where they were just a couple days ago at 98, 99 degrees. 30 degrees cooler by the middle of next week. Now tomorrow theres your forecast highs. These form highs, a lot like what we have experienced today. So tomorrow, nice looking day, good air quality. Fire danger is not out of control. Along the coast we do have plenty of fog with the temperatures there in the mid 60s. And then in the fiveday forecast through the bay area weekend, there it is. This is one, you know, when youre looking at the fire houses for cal fire that you look at this and say boy thats what you want to see in september, middle september because it is such a dangerous time for fire in that pattern almost wipes it out. It will be the public potential of a very nasty look. We will still have the high fire danger about five days of really mild weather. It is amazing what 30 days will do. Female students at College Park High school says she was singled out during the presentation for the incoming soft mother students, calling out the vice principal on social media. New at 6 00, Cristina Rendon joins us with more on that story. Reporter well frank, the principal of College Park High school tells me that they are taking the claims very seriously. Four girls have filed complaints against the Vice President for making comments that they felt more inappropriate. Reporter posing in a tank top in sweatpants. This sophomore took to instagram to explain what happened to her at school on thursday. She calls out the Vice President for singling her out in front of 300 peers, saying that her outfit is too scandalous. She also says that the Vice President mocked teenage girls, telling them not to show too much skin. The girls friends think that his comments were inappropriate. He said he has never seen so many bras in his life and that she was wearing sweatpants and singled her out. Dont wear the spaghetti strap or whatever this is. A lot of the girls thought it was sexist and disrespectful to the women. And essentially that everyone is talking about it on social media. She got really mad and stormed to the office and wanted to file a complaint. Reporter the principal said they received complaints from four girls. He denies that they singled out specific students. He made a gesture at that point in time and the gesture made it seem to show that he was being singled out. Reporter School Officials are taking a strict look at their protocols to make sure they know what is plop proper attire. I want to ensure that every student knows that they are heard that we are taking precautions as much as possible to make sure that this doesnt happen again.
