Luckily, for the most part, even though a lot of the students i went to a predominantly black and latino high school, even though a lot of the students i did with the defense, they supported me. What was it like for you and your circle of friends. Did you have girls that supported you . Did you lose friends . What was it like as a teenager . What was the relationship between you and your father, the time of the trial. Did you guys often talk during the trial . We did. He would call and check up on us to make sure we were okay. I would see things on the news. I was in school, during the trial. When i came home i would see the recaps of what happened. I would call and check up on him just because of the tension in every thing he was going t hrough. He was being followed. Well with his reaction. What did he tell you on the site on the phone . He tried to make sure he was okay and handling things very well. He did not want me to be worried about him. Im still worried about him. Fastforward, all these years later, this assassination with the fx series that is now running. This fascination with the fx erie that is now running. I read an article, you wrote, you asked your dad, dad, are you going to watch this . What was his answer and are you watching the . s answer was no. He did not want to relive it again. I am watching it. I am watching it because of sterling brown who plays my father. I watched her it because he sided with the defense, at the time, when he got the role he looked at my fathers book, and he realized some of the things my father went through so he was able to be openminded when he took on this role.
