Workers at the International Bird rescue in fairfield prepared the birds to go back into the field wild. They are being released in sausalito. The group says its still treating 220 birds. They still dont know the source of that mysterious substance that coated the birds killing at least 300 of them. A star swimmer dropped out of school after he was arrested on charges of Sexual Assault. Janine de la vega is joining us from the campus. Since hes been arrested, he has withdrawn from the university. Authorities say the late night attack happened on january 18th near student apartments and fraternity houses. Hes accused of raping a woman at a party as she lay intoxicated on the ground. Two stanford students on bikes saw the assault and chased after turner who ran. He was tackled and held until Campus Police arrived. Brock was arrested on five felony accounts. The Health Department says the person who died was younger than 65. Now the death occurred last weekend. The person did not have any known medical risk factors for flu complications. Health Officials Say the person had not received the flu vaccine. Its not often you see doctors walking a picket line but that is what happened yesterday when 150 doctors walked off the job at Ten University of California StudentHealth Care Centers across the state. This was the picket line at uc berkeley. The doctors there claiming heres where they were walking and they claim officials are withholding information about funding and expenditures in the midst of contract talks. Uc is offering a 3. 5 wage increase. And 3 increases over the next four years. But doctors say the strike is not about pay. They want funding for more student services. Former elementary schoolteacher has been found guilty of 19 counts of mild molestation. Joseph martin taught fifth and sixth grade. He inappropriately rubbed the chests of male students. Yesterdays guilty charge came at the end of his second trial. In the first trial the jury acquitted charges. In both trials martin said the touching was not sexual in nature. Prosecutors disagree. The Santa Clara County board of supervisors is trying to save the last Mobile Home Park in palo alto from closing. 400 people live at the Mobile Home Park. They face eviction as the proteaner is trying to sell the land for redevelopment. They have now set aside 8 million to keep the house open. They hope that money will encourage other organizations to put together a deal to save the Mobile Home Park. Marin county board of supervisors has approved emergency funding to make repairs to roads and levies. The board approves spending 1. 7 million for repairs. 1million is expected to go toward fixing levy in novato with the rest going toward land sly repairs landslide repairs. The money will also come from the countys reserve fund. Experimental law that allows people to shoot wild pigs in san jose will become permanent.
