Berkeley police are investigating a body found at aquatic park as a possible homicide. Police are asking for the publics help as they look for answers in this mysterious case. If any members of the public did see this white male in his 50s laying near south aquatic park, please give us a call. According to the Sheriffs Office, the scammers say they are from local Law Enforcement or the irs and they are asking for money to settle an outstanding arrest warrant. The Sheriffs Office says anyone who receives a call asking for money should take down the persons name and phone number. And then say you will call back after verifying their information with the police. Anyone who has lost money in a phone scam is asked to contact Law Enforcement. People at san joses largest homeless camp are being given a 72 hour notice to clear out. Between 200 to 300 people live in the camp known as the jungle. For months the city has been telling the People Living there they would have to leave in december. The citys homeless response manager says it will be left for good. 140 people have been placed into subsidized housing so far. Another 50 have housing vouchers and look for places to live. Visitors will receive two meals and a hot shower. Survey last year found that more than 7600 people live in santa clara county. San Francisco Police are searching for a driver who shot and injured a 60yearold man during an argument in the citys north beach neighborhood. It happened on columbus avenue yesterday afternoon. The victim is is known in the neighborhood as roy. Witnesses tell us he was crossing the treat. Got in in a argument with the driver. If he doesnt take his medication, then he attacks people all the time. Verbally attacks them. The bullet apparently hit the man in the shoulder. He was taken to San FranciscoGeneral Hospital and is expected to survive. A bullet fired by the driver also shattered a restaurant window. Supreme court is taking a look at whether threats made on social media are real threats or just he posted graphicically violent rap lyrics about killing his estranged pitchen the man says he was a San Mateo County social worker accused of having desex is are sheriffs deputies arrested if for the city of spokane, washington is providing some Holiday Cheer to shoppers with the help of parking pix cities. Lake tahoe Animal Shelter has provided a new lease on life for a litter of puppies that was dumped in a trash bin and left to die. The seven puppies was found behind a radio shack. Walker died on november 30th last year after the car he was riding in hit a tree and burst into flames. Police determined that speed was a factor in that crash. His father posted a message online. Walkers final appearance in a movie will be furious 7 and that movie is scheduled to be released in april. Police in petaluma arrested a man they say intentionally hit another man with his car. It happened early yesterday morning. A Man Told Police he saw 18 yearold moses hunt almost hit another person in the complex so he tried to make him stop by standing in the road but hunt did not stop. He hit that man and drove off. The man is expected to survive. Police found hunt in his car at his home after witnesses identified him as the driver. Several agencies would have to approve of the change. The Kaiser Hospital in santa clara is back open. That is after being closed to new patients for three hours. A staff member reported a chemical type smell in the emergency room. The Fire Department came out to investigate and shut down all traffic in and out of the hospital. Fire and hazmat crews say that they were able to rule out flammable gas but still has not identified the source of that smell. Firefighters ran the air conditioner until the smell was gone. And they started accepting new patients at 10 00 last night. The number of parents using unsafe bedding for their babies has gone down but more than half of all babies are still at risk of suffocating while sleeping. Current guidelines warn parents about using blankets, pillows, and other soft bedding. The unsafe bedding may lead to suffocation or sudden infant death syndrome. They recommend dress their babies in one piece sleepers and keep the room at a comfortable temperature. The girl scouts are going digital.
