A chp officer seriously injured after a fedex truck crashed into his suv. It happened on highway 50 in sacramento. It began when the officer stopped at this crash and chased one of the drivers onfoot. It is not cheer if the fed clear if the fedex hit the officers body directly. This officer is a great young man who was very quiet, to himself. But loved his job. Has always done a fine job on the department. Fedex is cooperating with their investigation. This is the third time in the last two months that a chp officer has been hit near sacramento. That hit and run driver that this officer was chasing has not been arrested yet. San Francisco Police have announced an arrest in an attempted sexual assault. Adam berglund is facing charges of assault with intention to commit rape and sexually battery. Police say he allegedly followed a 53yearold woman for seven block before attacking her. Officers arrested him on friday in china town. Police say the victim has identified him as her attacker. Petaluma Police Looking for a robber who apparently is a big fan of steph curry. It happened at the petaluma premium outlet. This man went into ana, diddas store, crab an adiddaas store, grabbed some things and ran. Highway 35 in san mateo skoint back open after a car accident left a 17yearold saratoga boy dead. The solo vehicle crash happened just before noon on southbound highway 35, just south of alpine road. The victims car reportedly rolled over onto his roof and trapped him inside. Firefighters in the south bay say one person was hospitalized today after a fire broke out in an apartment complex. This happened about 6 00 this morning in san jose on south 9th street near east Williams Street to the south of san jose state. Firefighters say at least one unit was damaged by the fire, and ten others had water damage. Theres no official word yet on what started the fire. Firefighters have been fighting all week, some in 48hour shifts. Help is on the way from other provinces. Sadly Mother Nature is not cooperating. It is a dangerous, unpredictable fire. Ceremonies in yuba city today mark the 40th anniversary of a bus crash that took the lives of 28 High School Students and a teacher. That accident happened in martinez on may 21st, 1976.
