A woman was found stabbed to death today inside a car in a Church Parking lot in east san jose. Police responded to the parking lot of grace church of ever green this morning. Officers say the victim had been stabbed once. Someone walking by the Church Called 911. Somebody who noticed the vehicle out there. Realized it been there a few hours and saw the woman inside. They saw an injury so they called the police. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name hasnt been released while they notify relatives. Police have no suspects and having trouble locating witnesses. This is san joses 26th homicide this year. And in Santa Clara County investigators are trying to determine the name of a body found burned not far from a busy road west of morgan hill. At 8 00 a. M. This morning drivers saw smoke off of oak glen avenue so they pulled over and that is when they made the discovery. They pulled over to investigate, and that is when they looked and could see it was a person. The Sheriffs Department says the body was burned beyond recognition. They are investigating the case as a homicide. Continuing coverage now of the napa earthquake and the steps being taken. Crews are working working to repair the damage. At last check napa had 30 broken watt lines and 400 customers are without water. The city says all gas and electric has been restored. Napa put an estimate of the damage at 300 million. But that figure does not include damage to public buildings, the structure or economic losses and leaking water pipes arent the only pipes they are facing.
