That has been on fire this whole time. And i asked in this Metal Recycling plant what could possibly be on fire like this. Here is what he said. Thats the insulation. Its the material that are on the metal. Its washers, its dryers, its wire with insulation on it. Thats what is burning. Reporter and so this is video that we shot just a couple minutes ago by the fire. You see the firefighters are hitting it hard. Firefighters did tell me that this is something that they expect ting doing now for probably a couple of days. Because this is the kind of fire where the material is piled up so high that its hard to get down into it. So they will actually have to physically turn everything over and put out the fire at the bottom of the piles. This could take a while. As far as a cause, firefighters would not say what it is. They dont know yet. But they do say that they did tell me that one of the things that they do at a plant like this is use fire to burn the insulation off of copper wiring and other materials. That is certainly one of the possible explanations for what happened out here. Good news though, it is being knocked down right now and no one was injured. Live from vallejo, ktvu channel 2 news. A smoky fire in the south bay burned a nonprofit Donation Center. It started shortly after 4 00 this afternoon in santa clara at the Hope ServicesDonation Center on alfred street. It burned as many as four trucks filled with donations such as clothing, furniture and electronics. And the flames didnt reach any buildings. And there are no reports of any injuries from that fire. Firefighters say they will be on the scene for a long time tonight to pull apart debris, to make sure that the fire is out. A middle School Teacher in the east bay is in jail tonight accused of possessing child pornography. Police in danville say that wolf was arrested as his home. Live at Diablo Vista Middle School where wolf taught and police will see if any students were victimized. Reporter School Starts up on monday but wolf will not be be in class. There will be a substitute teacher there. His arrest shocking administrators as well as parents. Danville deab blow vista middle school, home to 800 students, dozens of faculty and a 12year veteran math teacher wolf. Her daughters have been through his class. He loves what he does. He is personal with the kids. He finds out what is motivates them. Reporter Danville Police say that wolf was arrested this morning on suspicion of child pornography possession. The School DistrictSpokesman Says that wolf most recently taught 8th grade advanced math. All i know is hes a strict teacher. Thats all i know about him. Reporter police say wolfs arrest came after an investigation launched by the crimes against Children Task force. Wolfs arrest just doesnt feel right. I think theres more to it. You know, hes a very important Family Member in this community as well as a teacher. And i think theres more to it. Reporter and Danville Police also say that wolf is in the county jail in martinez. He is being held on 1 million bail. The School District says he is on paid administrative leave. Happening now, crews are almost done laying fresh turf at levi stadium in santa clara. This is what it looked like in the last 30 minutes. You can see the fresh grass being rolled out as the worker sprays it with water. And the field is almost now completely covered. It is a much different scene than yesterday when the turf was being ripped out. It left a brown patch of dirt in the middle of the Million Dollar field. It was triggered on wednesday after coach harbaugh called off practice because players were tripping examine falling on the loose grass. The coach has an optimistic view ease gets the team ready for sundays game. Ann. If they decide to put in new grass, tomo says they will be cutting it close to get a strong root structure in place. Its video that surprised us when a viewer shared what he recorded at a busy gas station. He is worried that the station is taking advantage of customers for charging them for fuel that they didnt pump. We looked into it to see if this is happening more often than you might think. No gas is coming out but the price and volume meter keeps creeping up. The pump shouldnt have that creep in there. It is a failure and it should be held off sale. Theres a whole lot of different aspects that could happen in the gas pump with the theres about four or five different mechanisms in there that cause a creep. Channel 2 news. Two veteran Police Officers in fairfield are under investigation tonight. Theyre suspected of spending long hours at work searching data sites for dates. And then using Law Enforcement databases to screen the women theyre interested in. The investigation came to light in Court Documents that were filed this week. Reporter Court Documents say that fairfield Police Officers steven lewis and detective jacob glasshoff used time and equipment to search for women on internet dating sites and used a Police Database to screen the women they liked. It has folks in fairfield talking. I feel like its an abuse of power. Reporter the Court Documents allege another fairfield officer reported the incidents to his superior back in the june. The reporting officer alleged that the two officers found women profiles on dating websites while working at the Investigations Bureau off of the Fairfield Police department. If its downtime, you know, during their breaks or whatever, thats one thing. But not on the clock. Reporter Court Documents allege that they used a Police Issued computer to look up women that they found appealing in a database that connects to the dmv and state and federal records. Court documents go on to say that the two officers would perform the searches and have conversations about the dating sites in front of other officers. You cant control yourself, you know, at work. Come on. Its pretty unprofessional in my opinion. It doesnt really surprise me. Why . Just the access nowadays. Its so easily available. Reporter the Fairfield PoliceDepartment Says it cannot comment on the Ongoing Investigation because of government code. People who live in fairfield had plenty to say. That is not a good thing.
