Reporter yee was one of 26 people caught up in a five year federal sting targeting a known china town gangster that has went straight. He was charged wednesday with conspiring to traffic firearms. We will bring you the latest right here. A teenage boy is in stable condition after being shot last night in San Francisco. It happened around 8 00 on kirkwood avenue in the citys hunter point district. Officers quickly sealed off the block. The boy was 14 years old and shot in the upper body. The shooting remains under investigation. Washington state is bracing for impending news they dont want to hear. The death toll following that massive mud slide. At least 90 people are still missing. So far everyone who has been found alive was rescued within the first few hours. Still rescuers are holding out hope for a miracle and refuse to call it a recovery operation. We are not going to run big heavy equipment over areas that we could collapse areas that have a survivor. I want to brace everyone that is a slim chance. They are angry with local officials for refusing them to join the search immediately after the slide where the chances to find survivors were the greatest. And today more local volunteers will head out to help with the relief efforts. Nine more volunteers are going to provide support and comfort to people awaiting information on missing loved ones. If youd like to help, the red cross says the best way is by donating money saying it has plenty of supplies and volunteers. Starting this fall thousands of bay area workers will be getting a new benefit that could save them hundreds of dollars. Local companies that have 50 fulltime workers will be required to one new program to encourage using public transit. There are four options. Most companies are expected to choose the option that lets workers set aside 130 a month from their taxable income. This is very similar to a flexible spending account. More people may be familiar with that. They can be used for transit costs. Other options include subsidizing up to 75 a month in commuting costs or providing private shuttles like the ones used by many tech companies.
