Staff at oakland Childrens Hospital says they have not received any instructions from any other facilities about transferring jahi. New this morning Daly City Police are investigating the theft of an ambulance overnight. Someone took the vehicle while paramedics were inside a home treating a patient. Ktvu channel 2 reporter katie utehs is joining us from their offices to explain how they got the ambulance back. Good morning. Reporter good morning. The ambulance was found less than a mile away from where it was taken. So it was a short joyride for whoever took it. There were a few medical supplies missing from the ambulance when it was found. Let me show you video from overnight. You can see an empty stretcher and no ambulance. Daly city police tell us the theft happened around 12 15 as paramedics with medical response responded to a call for help. A person who lived experienced blood sugar problems. They didnt need to be transported and paramedics left the home only to discover their ambulance was gone. They found it ditched nearby within a few minutes. The thief or thieves took some medical supplies before running away. Police have not confirmed what specifically was taken. Now i did speak with amr. They are directing all calls to Daly City Police. We do have messages and calls into Daly City Police whop when their spokesperson comes in, they will be contacting us. We should have more information for you later this morning. A San Francisco judge will hear more arguments about whether city college of San Francisco will be allowed to stay open. Hundreds of teachers and students gathered outside the courtroom last week as a judge began hearing arguments on two separate lawsuits. They are trying to keep the schools accreditation from being taken away next july. If the judge grants thes the preliminary injunction it will remain in place. A final agreement worked out between barts and its biggest unions bart workers will get a chance at 500 in boas. Under the new contract bart agreed to pay its workers 500 for every 1 that core commuter ridership exceeds expectations. Because of the two recent strikes ridership is down but bart will still honor the bonus because the unions dropped the claim to six week family leave. A crash between a car and a San Francisco fire truck sent two people including a firefighter to the hospital.
