The shooting happened when officers responded to a dometic disturbance. After the officers shooting there was a standoff with the suspected shooter. Its not clear yet if the suspect killed himself or died from police gunfire. The incident has shocked the community, a city that rarely sees such violence. It has been more than 100 years since a fargo Police Officer has died in the line of duty.
