The streets superintenden t says all 50 pieces of snow equipment are out taking care of priority streets as well as residential areas. He says they have been out since the snow started but the wind has been a challenge. 30 to 45 minutes after a street has been plowed the snow is covering many of the streets up again. But city officials are on having the snow cleared within 48 to 72 hours after the snow stops which is city policy. Now they are advising people to get their vehicles off the street if they can to help plows do their jobs more efficiently.
