The reporter they are indeed calling this a homicide. A body found inside of a car in the parking lot at the 24 hour i want you to take a close are look, a live look as the investigation unfolds. Just within the past several minutes, metro has cleared the parking lot by taking down the police tape and now it looks like theyre preparing to take away the vehicle within which a person was found shot to death. This all started at the 24hour fitness at 601 south rainbow at alta, happened about 1 20 a. M. This morning. Police say this somebody was in the car thats just about to be towed away, and that two people in another car pulled up next to that car, and metro says its unclear exactly what happened next. Was this something random, was there a prearranged meeting, or was there a prearranged meeting and then some type of an argument . Either way, those are all questions theyre working to answer. One key piece of evidence, according to Lieutenant Dan mcgrath will be grainy security video. There was a shot fired over on this side of the parking lot, standing, more or less, over in that area, and then the vehicle slowly rolls over and stops where its sitting right now.
