His mother spoke exclusively to us here at news 3. On june 25th her son 19yearold sergio lopez was shot in the clavicle and abdomen lingering between life and death. Just holding on. Sylvia, his mother, says it would take doctors nearly 20 minutes to pump his heart back to life. Nothing short of a miracle that he was able to hold on but it would take an unexpected turn for the worse on december 30th when visiting her first born at st. Josephs rehab center. Trying to say his brothers names. Started moving his legs. Um, he called me mom in my ear. And he would start giggling. He would start laughing. I was very happy of the improvement that he was having. He didnt wake up. Because he usually when he would see me walk in feel me walk into the room, he would wake up. This time he didnt wake up. And he didnt have no movement on his legs. Sergio died from a brain hemorrhage and his mother chose to give the gift of life by donating sergios organs. As difficult as this time has been for her she wanted his memory to live on in the lives of others. That 19yearold leaves behind two daughters. As for the suspect .
