Not some Santa Clause down your chimney it's about. Something more exciting than that really yes it's about a God who became a human being God who became a man the incarnation of Christ starts right now this is something that the Christian writers in the New Testament especially wanted to to. To make sure that the church got straight that God was in the flesh That's right really something it's a beautiful picture that we're going to hope to paint today through the scriptures you know I'd like to started off with a really beautiful to sink it statement I heard recently right which goes something like this. God walking on earth is much greater than man walking on the moon. And that is literally an entire nation if not a whole world gathered together to to. To be heard that 1st moon landing and what an amazing feat it was but it pales in comparison to the fact that the one who made it all right became so small and so helpless that he may grow. Live an example for us and pay the penalty right that we had incurred It's a beautiful story short is going to dwell on the Incarnation today they may be awesome before we get good and we can go on into topic but it looks like we have a caller who is waiting and this is Elijah and we go putting a lie John the air as soon as the call is given to us and I see the car coming over here right now so we'll put him on here let's Who is this Elijah. Hello welcome to the program again America's most. Have a question for us or. How do you know that the stories in the Bible are true very good question. All right thank you very much and thank you for your question Ok so biologically and I'm already allowed to have sort of very basic and but you'd still a very important question yeah how do you know that story you know the stories are true well you know let's look at a Bible verse which are one of my favorite verses when it comes to being able to trust the Bible and I think one of the cornerstones comes from the book of Isaiah and the chapter is the 46 chapter Alija and verse 910 the Bible admonishes us remember the former things of old. For I am God and there is no other I am God there is none like me declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things that are not yet done saying my counsel shall stand and I will do all of my pleasure right the Bible is a book that is unlike any other book in that it contains a vast amount of practice but one 3rd of prophecy that is to say the production of future events and not only that but accurate accurate depiction of past events that's right I prophecy kind of works both ways it's not always an easy thing to even describe a past event for instance. About what was it 5049 years ago almost 50 years ago man by the name of John f. Kennedy was assassinated it was in broad daylight there were hundreds of witnesses there's video footage right and pictures yet there is a lot of disagreement for what happened that day right so the Bible is a book that not only speaks authoritatively on the future but it also speaks authoritatively on the path right so when I when I consider the reliability of the Bible I look at really 2 things One the fact that it gives a what I believe to be a very accurate historical picture of the history of the earth they are holding to science and it also provides an accurate picture of the future events that it for a tour in some cases thousands of years in advance Yes So I believe the the the power in the Bible and one of the reasons that I have learned to trust it so firmly was 1st because it's prophecy and its ability to foretell future events and accurately describe past events and from that when I learned to shrug. That God was in control and I began to trust the promises of the Bible course the promises of peace the promises that God would change my heart the promises and that he would give me patience and kindness when I started to see the promises become true in my own life that's when my heart really became fully trusting in the Lord and I asked So it was a point it was a progression and I just know the prophecies really helps near my understanding that this was a special book and I learned to start trusting its promises in fact the Bible says and the promises of God are yes and Jesus Christ when I began to experience the world for myself and see it to be true I was I was sold a man a man this is what we call the internal evidence of scripture where in the Bible we have the fulfilled prophecies we have. When a person reads that there is the inner testimony of a change of life I would like to add to what Mr Kerry said is that there have been many people who try to discredit the Bible especially the stories especially because it talks about some won't wonderful amazing things yet seen opening up a. Fire coming down from heaven and so forth so many people try to discredit the the. The truthfulness of the Bible and they will they pick out that many many scholars have picked that or the Hittite nation never existed or by that doing Abraham's time there was no domestic camels but I would like to point out that as as the speed keeps digging deeper and archaeology more and more now they found out that they had died a nation was in fact. Then in fact exists and yes there were the camels were domesticated during the time of the ram so as you know this is what we call extra biblical evidence where Ok already is showing that the Bible can be historically reliable it's very most oracular historically reliable it's it's matching up with even outside sources that's right so there's no reason to doubt that what we have in our hands here is a. Accurate concerning Nations Kings peoples so want to so forth yeah I've heard it said the Bible is an answer that's one out many hammers very true and I just sense I think I might have an idea if I might. I have a right of really good material that would help to show you how reliable the battle manuscripts how accurate she has confirmed many of the even miraculous stories the Bible like the crucifixion and resurrection right left to share with you so I'll make sure to get those into your hands and it's a great question and I thank you for calling going to have a line forming in front of your door for all these wonderful materials but Elijah gets to be 1st. Ok Well thank you very much obliged for your question we certainly hope that we gave it some some direction that the Bible does itself internally say that it is true and even externally people have come to see that the Bible is a very reliable guide and every way possible in science and history and many different things Ok So thank you very much alive for your question we want to take more questions I believe that there was a person who could name Daniel who was calling We're sorry that we lost your call but go ahead and call in your question and we will be working to get you a Bible answer All right so going back to what we were talking about before they incarnation of Jesus Christ in the book of Isaiah Chapter 9 verse 6 we see this prophecy give it. For unto us a child is born unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor the mighty God the Everlasting Father the Prince of Peace Now you see him in Isaiah 996 a a prophecy about a child that was to be born and we celebrate this on Christmas and it's interesting what his name was mighty God the mighty God and the Everlasting Father the prince of peace so it's telling us who was this person who was this a God who became. A human being became a baby well we're going to answer that Ok. You know the Bible this is an event that's well described in the Bible. Book of I believe it's 2nd Timothy Ok the Bible reads to us if I readers are our listeners are reading their Bibles 1st Timothy excuse me chapter 3 and verse 16 a famous 316 says without controversy great is the mystery of godliness nobody can read the whole thing the 1st thing it says is God was manifested in the flesh in the flesh and that's that is the that is the incarnation in Flushing of God Wow the Bible predicted about 750 years beforehand by the pen of Isaiah that indeed it would be God Himself who would come to rescue people from the penalty of sin it would be God Himself that would take on flash so that he could read damn us from our sinful flesh Wow what a beautiful story it is a beautiful story yeah God was here and he you know he rubbed shoulders with the rest of us that's right he became as you God was manifest in the flesh so Jesus Christ was no mere guru or teacher No no he has not left that open to us yet I still believe he never he never claimed to be simply that Jesus statements of being the Son of God of being the one who would whose temple would be destroyed in 3 days raise it up again speaking of his body Jesus never really left it open the one who said before Abraham was I am right he never really left it open to him simply being . A virtuous person or an excellent moral teacher and I was just some Jesus claims on divinity were many and varied and when you read the Bible with an open eye you can't help but to to grasp that fact the Bible teaches in the book of Hebrews through Hebrews Chapter one. Verse 2 says God is in the last days spoken to us by his son who is appointed heir of all things to her. Also he made the world's who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of his person that is to say Christ was the perfect representation of the character of God God in the fashion of holding off things by the word of his power when he himself purged our sins sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high let's look at this beautiful picture that God's glory the glory of His perfect character was completely perfectly mad of festive displayed in the life of Jesus a man you know if we want to know what God is like we don't have to look to the stars we don't have to look to the astrologers we we don't have to look within ourselves we have to look at the record the historical record of a real man of a real person rocked in real time and real solid ground in the name is Jesus that's right and this is the story we're drawing on today and then the in fashion of Jesus you know it just occurred to me that talking about the the Battle Hymn story which we find in the book of Luke Luke chapter one it's amazing what the what the shepherds did when they actually came in contact with this baby now when I see a baby there Ok yeah when I see a baby there's a lot of things I want to do you know I would like to hug it skews or you know pinch it particularly you know a little bit blue little bit of a kiss and things like that. But when you know you're right it is Luke chapter 2 but when these angels came and saw the baby Jesus and we read I read this for. My family worship this morning and it says in verse. Well Star started 15 so it was when the Angels had gone away from them into heaven that the shepherds said to one another let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass which the Lord has made known to us and they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph and the babe lying in the manger now when they had seen him they made widely know I'm sorry. A believer I may have. Mistaken what was going to say. If I only seen him widely know Ok so you know what I think I'm talking brother on story I think I'm talking about the wise men Ok the magic Yes because they were the ones who responded in a very interesting way Ok if o'boy I'm so sorry for that is Matthew Chapter 2 Matthew Chapter 2 and it says that stood over were Ok and his verse 9 when they heard the King they departed behold the star which they came seen seen in the east went before them till they came and stood over where the young child was and when they saw the star they rejoiced with exceeding joy it is in verse 11 and when they had come into the house they saw the young child with Mary his mother and fell down and they worship and they worship him right now that's very interesting because in all the scripture there. Is no other person who receives worship that's right except God Himself Angelus don't accept worship. No nor the being on earth you know that is on the side of righteousness except worship accept and accept God Himself That's right. That's very interesting I said this story there's a whole lot of cool stuff that we can look at Yeah that actually talks about how the rise men went to see the young child in the house it actually doesn't seem to sort of the same names you know you know because a little bit of time has passed about 10 years which is why Herod Herod he had decreed and carried out the execution of his plan that all the children under 2 years old in Bethlehem would die and it's very interesting to know that well obviously he wasn't just a baby like fresh from the womb because he could have just made the command that all the babies who had just come out of the womb be killed that's right because so much time had passed from the time that Jesus was born to the time the wise men were there right up to 2 years 3 years and this is why the command went out to kill the children 2 years younger so you see any. Of it was a tricky scene and yes it was the rising numbers there was a rise and in fact I was just listening to radio today and they're telling the story how when the wise men came to see Jesus that 1st Christmas I see not what happened it's now a lot of different misconceptions about the Christmas story and I think that's why it's important that our listeners and us ourselves included that we read the Bible for us all a mentor that you know because the Bible doesn't even say there was 3 No no I just want to know it's really sad really this stuff because I'm talking about 15 years but you know we stick to the Bible that's what we want to do we don't want to go astray and from our own things Ok so. I believe this is the same Daniel tried to corner you're going to put Daniel on the air that's how you reconcile straight from the Bible. Happy holidays to you you have a question for us today. Yes . Ok but you. Good question so yes yes. Ok. Thank you very much for coming and you know something I think we have a book that explains a lot of the things about the Book of Revelation It's called the great controversy great book I want to give the team as a gift Ok they're now. You have to do is come over to join a family and say I want my book My name is Daniel the book is called people. Come from so I write if you call back and give us your address your mailing address will mail this book to u.k. . So just go back and come back earlier when I went to Christmas Eve with the great controversy. Thank you but oh well thank you Daniel That's Michael question right now Daniel your name means goddess jabs and that's right. Is a name that connotes one who is like God or one is like God Now the verse that he's referring to was a revelation that I said about 7 right could you read that Pastor sure and the words were are in heaven Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and the dragon fought and his angels That's right so the Bible says Michael and his angels right obviously Michael has. Right now the Bible says in Matthew chapter $25.00 verse $31.00 when the Son of Man comes in His glory and all the holy angels with Him then He will sit on the throne of His glory so he's really high heels also has seen jewels That's right fact if you read the Bible as you read about the 2nd coming Jesus comes with all of the heavenly host Jesus has his retinue of angels which is why we see of course and even in his life the cooperation that he had with the angels when He ascended on high after after his life on earth you know the gifts of the spirit were poured out and and angels were sent to do the bidding of him right to work with his early church Jesus is the commander I've named jewels. Yes Michael one God Here is fighting against the devil the dragon because the Bible goes on to say that dragon in verse 9 is the devil and Satan who deceives the whole world now when you look at the previous book which is just a single chapter book The Book of Jude The Bible also speaks in verse 9 of Michael it says Michael of the ark. So now we have a sort of like a a rule that he plays better Archangel Ok That's right that's why the archangel in contending with the devil when he disputed that the body of Moses did not bring against him and reviling accusation but said the little rebuke you so who is it that contends for the bodies of those who be resurrected question let me continue this on a little bit further because the Bible actually says that Jesus in verse 16 and 1st testimonials for descends from Heaven with a shout with the voice of an archangel archangels a reservoir voice of the archangel So here we have the command of the angels who is the one who has the voice of an archangel who is the one that comes and wakes up the dead well to Jesus right and if we have a little time later we can talk more about Jesus and John like identity right Ok so we'll be back right after this to answer that question. 'd Oh my man. And. Welcome back to the 2nd half of street from the Bible today's program is a rebroadcast from a previously recorded program and is not line don't miss a live program Mondays from 5 to 6 when you'll be able to call in with your Bible questions you can e-mail your questions any time to Bible at Choice f.m. Radio dot net submit them online at Joy f.m. Radio dot net or message us on Facebook at facebook dot com forward slash joy f.m. Radio joins us now for straight from the Bible. We have now returned from our break for 17 remember 911 for you to dial in your Bible question from Leon of rob from the c.n.n. I know you may dial 3231113 even though your question in that Bible at Joy if I'm gone dot com be i.b.o. Lee at Joy f.m. Guam dot com be very glad to take in your question I believe that we do have some questions that are coming over to our side of the studio but go ahead and pick up your phone right now down those questions and we're all do our best here to take your take your questions and turn them into Bible answers Ok So our we have a we want to before we go to the lines we. Actually want to go to the lines on the way to return to that little discussion we were having about the identity of Michael right so we have Glazer I believe and we're going to put glaze on here yes a little plays a role come to stray from the Bible you're on there. All right Joe. I'm sorry looks like. I'm reading it correctly but I guess I didn't get it the day I might remember Thank you for coming back so now you have a 2nd question for us I guess. Let me. Ask. Oh Ok so basically the the the mother is kind of catering to a fussy child and says oh maybe if I give them a little this bread the child will be quiet Ok. Yes. You can take this on the air. Right well I would like to point you to a very important passage in the book of 1st Corinthians chapter 11 the book of 1st Corinthians Chapter 11 tells us a lot about the proper way to celebrate the Lord's Supper and when we're talking about the Lord's Supper of course this is something that Jesus Christ himself instituted. Telling us about that if when we do this we are eating is flesh we're drinking his blood in symbolic in a symbolic way now if we take a look at the verse 27 of 1st Corinthians 11 we read them for who ever eats this bread or drinks that this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the Body and Blood of the Lord but little man examine himself and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup verse 29 says for he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself not discerning the Lord's body . So. When a Christian is sitting at the. At worship and they have the bread and the unfermented grape juice which symbolizes the very body and blood of Jesus Christ at that point the bread and the line are no longer simply food and drink because they point to something so much greater. If there is emblems are mistreated. Or partake of in a flippant or trivial trivial with a trivial attitude that basically there is a condemnation now here is the condemnation the person who doesn't have spiritual discernment he doesn't have spoke of his sermon to realize what these things mean well let me put it to you this way the American flag. Can be argued as a religious cloth with some dye making it red white and blue but to many people and I might say even to myself that just looking at the surface behind that there is if we have a little bit of understanding that. The flag of a nation and something to the people of the nation and to mistreat at something and other words if I used it for a tablecloth Well then I'm not discerning the meaning of that symbol it's a sang thing with the emblems of the Lord's Supper except that this has to do with our salvation. Because if we don't discern that this is really about Jesus and the room we treat the bread and the wine is really how we would treat hem then it's it's it's a very very serious thing so yes I have seen this myself where the mother has the brain or her hand on the child in her lap is fighting to get a piece of that. Really caution the mother the parent the mother or father not to give them because really the parent has to teach the child that this is not just bread not just scriptures and so. You have to ask yourself if the mother decides to do this isn't a mother a father I keep saying mother but because Elijah said it was a mother but should the mother or father give and then that actually points to you know you have to ask yourself does that parent himself or herself discern the Lord's body. And I think that the answer is obvious that they're treating it just like bread you know and that's it so the Bible I think is very clear that we must not partake in an unworthy matter. Ok So thank you very much for your call I have another caller trying to call and I'm very sorry that we didn't get your your car but go ahead and pick up your phone right now we have just. I don't have time so go ahead and pick up the phone and squeeze another Bible question Ok go back to talking about. Dealing with the identity of Michael we saw that both Jesus and Michael having tools we see that both Jesus and Michael responsible for raising the dead and so that Jesus Christ and Michael are the same person but here is what many people ask how could you say that Jesus is an archangel Yes And so what are we saying that Jesus Christ is just. Simply one of the angels what happened to his deity that's right the Bible speaks very clearly in the book of Hebrews how Jesus he was made so much higher than the hills that Jesus was not one who was or he was made Lord and then the angels but he was exalted above them because he is higher than the jewels he's not just an angel who is created the Bible speaks of his have having no beginning Jesus has always existed he self existed the everlasting Father I that's exactly right so how can Jesus be an archangel what I think it's much the same way that a president can be a commander in chief he's not necessarily on the battlefield right but he is what the one who commands them and the one who identifies with them and much like Jesus now is Jesus an angel himself no he's the ark angel that is to say he's the ruler he's the leader over the angels now an angel just to be clear is a messenger he doesn't just mean one who has an identity of a chair but one who is a messenger and Jesus Christ in that sense was and and is an angel and the leader of the angels and a messenger whenever we see Michael we see Michael contending against the devil we see Michael commanding the angels so we really see Michael as Jesus is the name for Jesus in his. If we could even use the term his military type role when you tending against the Devil very funny is fighting for mankind just as we had him as well when he became a child for us as a son of man when he represented man on earth the right yeah you know it's worthy of pointing out there is no other bank in the entire Bible who is named as an archangel many people say that David was an archangel but the Bible never got over that is that Lucifer himself was never called an archangel either but in the Bible calls him covering cherub So there is only one Archangel Biblically speaking and so we see how this that that term Archangel is applied exclusively to the Son of God That's right all right we have Gerald who's on the air who would like to ask us a question we'll put him on the air yes who is this general. Thanks for calling. And I have a question. Steve that's how I get to hear from you Gerald it's having you have a question 1st. I'm forming. A man. Description in regard to I call my abs. Question. Ok what. Happened. To me. So hair color eye color is there any references to this and the in the Bible good question. The answer is 'd well. Apart from maybe some no. No I can't really think of anything worth says that Jesus had sex color of eyes or white color of hair and we do know the book of Isaiah 53 taught that he did not come as a supermodel as one who would simply attract people by his behavior he but rather that it was his character what's very interesting is the Bible speaks exclusively and abundantly about the character of chances because what mankind needed was not so much an example physically as an example in character and spiritually but the well you were referencing in Isaiah $53.00 I believe it goes that he was like a route out of dry ground and without any form or comeliness that we should desire that's right so he looked very ordinary You might say and this is what we don't know for sure the Bible did refer to that he was the lion of the tribe of Judah he came from the tribe of Judah and Jesus was Jewish Rachael it's very interesting today you'll find many people that try to make a claim that he were. A black skin complection or that he was more or Caucasian or this is this is really just speculation I don't read any basis to it I think we need to be very comfortable with the fact that historically 2000 years ago the Messiah came as a Jewish man and with that said he would have taken on the probably complection dark hair and brown eyes of the Jewish Man 2000 years ago in Palestine . The Bible again does not give any description exactly of his length of his hair. Color. But we do know we have been abandoned and out of evidence as to how he was Character wise so you know I think that it's that hey it's going to be great to see his face Sunday to battle promises Revelation 22 for that we will see his face in the New Jerusalem so we're going to find out someday we're going to get to look at God's face is that awesome it is awesome you know there is one place in the Bible were actually describes his physical features but it was after he had died and gone to heaven when he was glorified you find out in the Book of Revelation chapter one where it says in verse 12 then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me and having turned I saw 7 go in the lamb stands and in the midst of the 7 Lamb stands one like the son of man and I'm sorry clothed with a garment down to the feet good about with a chest with a golden band his head and hair were white like well as white as snow and its eyes like a flame of fire his feet toward like fire and brass as if it refined as if refined in a furnace and his voice as a sound of many waters if you jump down to verse 16 it says that his countenance was like the sun shining in its strength Now this of course is not talking about to the Jesus that was born and walked here on Earth this is in His glorified state where even his feet had it seemed like it had a light source of its own as air his hair was luminescent it was it was filled with light so this is the only description that we have of Christ's as physical appearance and it was after he was gratified and went to the Father in heaven so this is this is I think that Steve hit it on the head where it really wasn't a physical attraction that people had towards him but it was the n. Word beauty and inward holiness that drew on man to him as he says Yeah and that's where the physical features of the Apostles and that is where we also know very little now there is a. Just a commonly held belief for one about the Apostle Paul that he was short and also that he had bad eyesight Well you know often when we think of Paul we think that this must have been some great strapping man of evangelist but you know the Bible doesn't really say one of the other but there is traditionally a lot of people have thought that he might have been short. Of the one of the Apostles were ordinary people yes and the great works they did by the power of the Holy Spirit God promises to his church as well. As a side note as well I'm fact you'll find statues and images and hostels all over the place in fact one of the most famous ones is of St Peter Yes And this is of course a very famous place where people take pilgrimage to. In fact I believe his his foot has been to so many times the toll has worn off they had to replace that but it's a very very interesting thing that that actually is not a replica of some of some image of Peter 2000 years ago it's actually just a statue that used to be a statue of Jupiter of Jupiter. About what they look like they were ordinary men who did extraordinary things to the power of God It's right nor is it necessary to really know what they look like and so once more it's how do we say regarding the Apostles it's not the man that's the message that's right and so if they if they look homely or in any other way it really doesn't matter because what they have left for us is their testimony that's right a testimony that Jesus Christ is is the Son of God So they have just about a little more like 13 minutes left in our program we really would love to have another question so go ahead and pick up your phone dial for some 211114 someone 211112 call from Santa panting and wrote up please. We just had one call from Sipe and we would love to have more placed 132-311-1323 extension 1113 ask your bio. Question So that Mr Kimmie can answer it from the Bible and I will agree with him. I don't mind going Ok again so we're very glad that you're calling at all right now perhaps you've heard just for a few seconds talking a little bit more about the incarnation of Christ and when we talk about the incarnation of Christ when people many people ask was he really like me. You know. We are they he didn't look that beautiful or. Not overly so but it was he really did he really have this kind of a body or was a something special maybe the way he had a custom made body that was so awesome and you know so just right let's have an advantage over me I will answer that leave a question now we can answer that in just a moment Ok so let's have a take the question from Elijah is coming up for the time Ok you're right is this you again. You are staying by the phone so Ok let me play a question for them go ahead. That's a good question Mr the 1st on this question on a cancer question. Ok Well thank you very much and I think you're right both of those in heaven Well if we're going to be there for all eternity. You know that. There's a celebration every year as a 20 years where you eat $1300000.00 yeah wouldn't it be great. Right you know one thing we do know. You know even in this life we have more than one birthday we have that physical birthday as you know mine is able to 22nd 981 but there's also that special day. For me it's October 15th 2006 that was the day that I was buried in the waters baptism. So excuse me 2005 I'm just trying to think I'm younger than I am 2000. But that's also a very important date because that's the date of our spiritual rebirth No the Bible does teach that at the 2nd coming of Jesus. And 1st that's the audience for that those himself will descend from heaven with a shot with the voice of the archangel the trumpet of God and the dead in Christ will rise 1st you know that words there will be this rebirth of God saints who will never die again so in that sense they were all kind of have the same the same birthday really the way things are complicated though is that the very order of things is going to change because the Bible teaches that their God will create a new heaven and they haven't any new earth and we will already be alive when he does that I actually think that we're going to get to watch that that's pretty exciting in fact the Bible says the angels had a chance to watch God create the 1st time it spoke to the angels they shouted for joy when God created the heavens and the earth one thing we do know is this Do we have birthdays yes or no this is one thing we do know Alija. Has a birthday Isaiah Chapter 66 tells us as the new heavens and earth which are made which I make sure mean before me says the board socially your descendants in your name remain and which will come to pass from one. To another and from one Sabbath to another office shall come to worship before me says the Lord Amen In other words God will recreate the heavens and earth and there will be that week that Sabbath just as we have that beautiful Sabbath now that commemorates the birthday of the world when God created the heaven and the earth in 6 days and rest of the 7th we commemorate that every week so that throughout eternity so. Not necessarily be keeping track of our birthdays so I think that you know. Interested in numbers and age and all those things where we might put a take every time the earth goes around the Sun remember that the workers created by the very earth we live in that person will remember that every week as we come before him to worship him on his Sabbath right. No. Many times when people ask me Is this going to happen and I have been able to do this and haven't you know people ask is my is my dog going to be there and these are well meaning questions I'm not ridiculing them at all it's just that it almost sounds like people are worried that they're not going to be happy there in other words you get there you'll be happy we promise. To question it's very telling because you know I got to tell you when I was your age back when I was a young boy. So it's very interested in both those would throw funny once you've had enough of them you kind of intentionally start to lose track you know like I don't want to remember or do anything for me now and you don't remember so it's kind of funny how it is you know both those are exciting for maybe people yeah. We had looks like we have a little less than 10 minutes left in the program be able to squeeze in another question we want to go ahead and Russian re m. And perhaps we can if you call a question they'll probably have to be a very short answer so for someone to remember 91147211113231113 if you're calling from the c. And I might by lead Joya Fadden Graham dot com if you would like to you know your question and also it looks like we have a question that's coming in and they are taking my challenge to Russia then and and see if we can give me a speedy Bible question we don't want to shortchange anybody we want to be able to give a good. Bible answer and probably just have to be very very concise and how we deal with the question that's coming out. So Jesus Christ. But did he have a body like me was he like me I believe that in the book of Hebrews and does tell us that he was made like unto like brother another and that's right that's right the Bible even says and book of Galatians that when the fullness of time this is top performers for when the fairness of time had come God sent forth His Son born of a woman born under the law there are those who are under the law that we might receive the adoption of sons that is to say Christ was indeed born of a woman born into flesh that was not immune that was not completely barricaded against the possibility of sin That's right that's right Jesus fought the battles that we have to fight that's right Jesus was victorious That's right he was tempted and it would be a temptation if it was impossible to to form but to thank God he did not not and not with one thought or suggestion did he ever. Give in to the rise of the devil Ok now and it is going to have to be very quick with this question try to be thorough with our answer yes or no is this Ed. Hello. There's a said. Ok you have a question 1st real quick. And Don you're talking about a piling on in the book Revelation chapter. Ok. Ok. Ok Sure world Ok thank you very much Ed Ok Ok so added on or a poly on in the Book of Revelation go ahead and. Said the words. I think when it's in the night chapter 5 not mistake him I'm searching for myself and we are in. For we're looking for it and we're just about ready to get it here it is 10 of those in chapter 9 very good and it out in verse 11 I read this is that with what's called the 5th. Locust from the bottomless pit it speaks in the previous rows in verse 10 their tails like scorpions they were stings in their tails and the power was to hurt men 5 months and they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit whose name in Hebrew is Abba Don But Greek he has the name partly on which I believe means destruction obstruction or destroyer the destroyer Yes many people if you take a look at a lot of the commentators in the Book of Revelation and especially when we're talking about the 7 trumpets blowing he really picked a good question to give a concise answer to. That I say that very sarcastically because really the 7 trumpets in a very short concise way is really all about the military history that the church has had to deal with a lot of conquering a whole lot of swords and and destruction and bloodshed while were happening to around that time around the influences of God's church people don't see in this particularly in this particular trumpet the fulfillment of the the the Moslems and the the followers of the followers of Mohammad some of the people who were followers of Muhammad when the fame were riding on horses they they had. The power to hurt men for 5 months that was actually a particular time period where the the Crusades and and all this all this was happening I am so sorry we're not going to be able to give a full answer but to the world Abba Don an apology on actually talking about the destruction destroyer and it was a very trying time for people call themselves Christians and so we're that's that's pretty much the of the the nutshell version of that question we really have only about 2 minutes left in our program so to us on a on a on the note that we started with that god he condescended to become like us for a very special reason that's right and the reason he wanted us to redeem us through Christmas is wonderful to have give some Christmas trees wonderful to be with family but this season room reminds us of a God who came to earth who would not be who would not let us go down the path of destruction without doing everything that he could do to save us and so we would like to thank you for tuning in to the joy of family at stray from the Bible today we would like to invite you to tune in again next Monday for Stephen Keshi and Matt Chrisman a person who will be taking the program and that will happen on Monday from 5 to 6 will be happy to have you tune in and join us them this is passion in a small office and Stephen k.p.
