John Glenn who was a senator at one time and John Young and Well I remember there was a room down at Cape Canaveral where let's just say situations are talked about deals are made that kind of thing and I remember these 4 guys in dark suits and shades and red ties I distinctly remember seeing red ties and John Young was sitting there at the table and he had his elbows there n'est hands just kind of placed on a. Yeah he was a U.S. Senator at the time and then so with great reluctance Senator Glenn signed whatever they wanted signed in the last well I started asking people who I figured may have been in the know about this well this night this happened 9 right started having missing time and black out the next day I start remembering what did happen and these guys that have their abilities how are they However I do things somehow got me to pull over on the side of the interstate and they got right in my face and they said shut up about the case and they just kept saying I quit asking questions about the case and they meant a no no they meant it and there's no way that you know they could have known unless these like they said in the movie. Blackguard children and slender man who creepy stuff I had a chance to talk to David Weatherly to learn more about these 2 strange phenomenon and welcome back to cause the cause I'm George Norry number of topics chill me but man the one about Black Eyed Children just sends me for a loop David Weatherly has been investigating paranormal subjects for more than 35 years all over the country and abroad is written on a diverse range of topics cryptozoology your foes hauntings He's an expert on the Black Eyed Children and we're going to bring him on for a couple hours here on Coast to Coast David this is always scary how are you getting for having me on and you know it's great it's my pleasure for not for the new people who come to coast to coast and we get lots of them when we hear of black Our children are probably seen what Wal-Mart's give us a little overview of the people who encounter them are still flame what's. Essentially a short description these are children who are showing up at people's homes places of business they're approaching cars in parking lots they're generally described as being somewhere between. Years old and early teens they're described as very old skin monotone voices and of course completely solid black eyes hence the term that we know commonly associate with them like that children or be chased by cats it's what happens typically needs encounters is that they children will approach a person and they will ask for something you know they will knock on someone's door and ask to come out of the rain or come in for a drink of water often it is. The phrases are very odd you know we we just thought would stop in for a while and these are children you know the resident has never seen before in their lives they're not like neighborhood kids right no not at all not at all typically when they approach they are sort of holding their heads down so they're not making direct eye contact initially. And people describe a growing sense of concern initially obviously it's a child so it sort of takes people off guard you know we're sort of hardwired to help children if they're asking for something are there ever any black eyed parents with them. You know it's interesting as I George there are a couple of cases that have come to light where adults are appearing with these children and actually something I thought we'd talk about a little bit tonight is the fact that there are a growing number of accounts now of black eyed adults showing up in approaching people. Just completely without the children now that's sort of interesting because really the 1st significant modern case of these Black Eyed Children goes back to 1996 was a gentleman named Brian Bethel it's probably the most famous encounter at this point and his encounter occurred in Texas and 96 and he had a situation where these 2 kids approached him in a parking lot and you know you said in his car writing a check and they approached his car window and started asking him for a ride you know they said they wanted to see a movie and he had the sense of mind to look up at the Marquee and realize that the movie was you know pretty far into the last showing and it didn't make any sense what these kids were asking and he had the sense of concern that accelerated You know he started feeling short of breath he was very nervous and suddenly these kids make eye contact and he realizes that they've got solid black eyes no whites at all and at that point the fear just sort of spikes. He throws the car in reverse and it gets you know out of the parking lot as quick as he can interesting enough has he's point out of the parking lot he looks in the rearview mirror and these kids have vanished and that's very typical in these encounters you know people will slam the door on these children when they reach that peak of fear and they just want to get away from them they'll go over and look out the window and these kids have vanished in the nowhere to be seen do you know what happens if you let them into your house if you let them into the car. You know there's one really significant case that is covered in my book wherein child was like a child was in a for lack of a better word a victim's car and that particular incident I don't remember if we've spoken about before not but essentially what happened was a woman had her 10 year old child in the back seat of her car live in a small town she's on her way home she stops by the convenience store jumps out leaving her child in the car you know goes in to grab her loaf of bread or milk or whatever comes back out and this this really all creepy out George and you can imagine what I mean you know what we've all been there sort of on autopilot you know she jumps back in the car tossing the groceries in the passenger seat turns over the engine and as she does she's automatically looking in the rearview mirror to check on her child and when she does that. Staring back at her in the rearview mirror as a little boy with solid black guy sitting directly behind her son. Now that's sort of odd to begin with the sitting in the middle of the you know back seat as opposed to on the passenger side of the back seat as a normal person would probably do so he's making physical contact with this young boy. Her fear spice immediately she really just she goes from you know complete calm to instill fear in a matter of seconds jumps out of the vehicle Yanks open the back door and pulls her son out and runs back in the convenience store. Now she gets inside and she's. Sort of stuttering and stammering and the clerk is rushed around knowing something's wrong and you know all she can get out is that there's somebody in her car the car rushes out there's a vehicle door standing open no one around no sign of a child no sign of anyone else you know it's a very open parking lot this child would have had to been the flash to get away you know and out of sight from the situation so. The aftermath of this encounter was that this woman was so frightened she she wasn't meant to the court what had happened she didn't know what to say and all she wanted to do was was call or husband and have him come up to the store they didn't live very far away now she didn't explain what happened to her husband over the telephone just that she needed him to come up there and she would explain it all when they got home so. He comes up to the store. They switch vehicles because she doesn't even want to get back in her vehicle. He drives her vehicle back to the house. On the way home he's in a wreck and totaled. The car so he ends up in the hospital. Fortunately he had you know what turned out to be fairly minor injuries they kept him for observation for possible Kushan and so forth he has no recollection of what happened cept that the last thing he can remember was smelling a foul odor in the vehicle now the the wife didn't relate this aspect she didn't remember a smell but he remembered something the people at the hospital concluded Oh well it must've been some kind of a gas leak or something that cause you to pass out. Now. The further. Disturbing aspect of this encounter was that here we have this 10 year old boy who had left us blackouts out in the vehicle and when the mother finally tossed him and she says she's trying not to alarm the child you know who doesn't really get what's you know what's going on what's the problem here she talks to her son and she said. You know is it do you know that boy from school and the response was No Mommy I don't know and just profitable or for you know why did he get in the car the son says well. I thought we could go to my house and play. Great so here's this innocent child you know just seen a potential playmate Sure let's this black eyed kid in the vehicle has essentially physical contact with him the disturbing aspect George is that this 10 year old boy became ill. They took him to the doctors of course and when they did the doctors began to attempt to diagnose what was wrong with this child that they had no idea well the issue was the symptoms kept changing. They thought at one point this child had the measles because he broke out in a rash you know OK we've got it figured out it's what it is the you know what appears to be measles goes away they thought he had a virus they thought he had appendicitis they're completely puzzled because every time they think they figured something out his symptoms change David these children these Black Eyed Children were do you think they're coming from. A little while that's a big question my personal theory is I think these are. Some type of interdimensional creatures for lack of a better word I don't think their children at all I think there's something that. Able to assume the form of a child in order to catch people off guard and you know we're starting to see some interesting things in science now Science been talking about other dimensions and parallel universes and so forth. Quite a bit the last few years that used to be science fiction and now quantum theory start talking about now we know there are there are other dimensions of existence and you know we're just not sure how to get to them but that doesn't mean that whatever is there doesn't know how to get here when you go back to. All tribal and cultural lore from around the world you find very similar things you know people that ancient peoples that talk about the beings that used to live here and at some point they left whether they left through a shimmering doorway or a hole in the sky or you know perhaps in a craft and I think what they were trying to. And Target was that they were seeing something that went into another level another dimensional existence and I really think that that's what we're seeing at this point you know a lot of portal areas around the world and people in the paranormal have been talking about this for years people like John Keel. Window areas where a lot of strange things happen in collected space and that those are possibly points of entry for these things I want to read a story that broke a couple weeks ago about 2 Wisconsin girls will stand trial now as adults not juveniles for allegedly trying to kill a 6th grade classmate so all fictional online character called Slender Man would not harm them or their families the girls are 12 and 13 years old and they're charged with attempted 1st degree intentional homicide they stabbed the girl 19 times and left her for dead the girl recovered has returned to school but it's a bizarre story you've got some experience with the substandard man story. It's a bizarre story for and it's very disturbing obviously you know we're talking about children again and this is a situation where as you stated they just posted a ruling on this that these 2 girls who were 12 at the time of the what turned out to be an attempted murder now 13 and they will stand trial as adults in the front something changes but it's a very. Very weird twist on this thing a slender man started out essentially as an internet name it was created. By all evidence on a form called something awful and the goal was to enjoy fabricate some type of paranormal opposite and that could be.
