Nicole garcia live with more on his appearance in court. 44yearold marc payne is here at the Fourth Avenue jail and not getting out any time soon. A judge ordered that he be held with no bail. He is facing about a dozen charges including three counts of attempted murder. Now payne made his First Court Appearance today and he looked very out of sorts. He had trouble standing up are the and leaning on the upright and was leading on the podium and he looked dazed and week and sounded out of breath as he. Cited his name and birthday. The judge had to ask payne twice to stand up straight. He rammed his car into three Phoenix Police officers. Toxicology results are still pending. Prosecutors asked for no bail saying that payne was a danger to society and the judge agreed. According to court documents, not only is payne accused of intentionally plowing into officers, they say he continued to fight with officers even after the crash. A taser was used on payne and initially he it no effect on him. A taser was then second time and payne was finally subdued after that second time and taken into custody. Two officers are still recovering from their injuries today and an officer suffered a broken leg and one officer is still in the hospital. He suffered a concussion.
