Yeah, long road to recovery for these two teens who were hit by a 60yearold driver who is still behind bars. One of the victims was hit by the driver. From the hospital bed, she tells me day after day, she is going through excruciating pain. Hoping that she can stop someone electric making a very bad decision. In the blink of an eye, her life would change forever. He was a drunk driver. He was a drunk driver. A drunk driver, the reason why hes here today. Its kind of hard, because sometimes i wake up, and ill remember that my leg is broken. Two broken legs, five surgeries, and three painful weeks after a night became a nightmare. We see a little bit of weather right in the coastal areas up near seattle, and then down here by brownsville, a little bit of active weather as well, and then look at the great lakes, the upper great lakes, these guys are looking at kind of a mixed bag of rain and snow in that area, but really not bad. Look at detroit at 63, 58 up in new york, 70 in atlanta we also had 70 in wichita today, 60 in bismarck. One fought in the other has done two deployments to iraq, and despite the age difference, they do have a lot in common, which makes their friendship even more rare. Show biased policing still exists, and more than 70 deputies have been identified as it means that they are, for example, stopping a certain stopping latinos or native americans at a significantly higher rate than other deputies in their same beat or their same district, so these things need to be addressed quickly. In an interview with fox 10, penzone says when he takes office he wants to resolve this case quickly, because remember the monitors that are overseeing continue to oversee the Sheriffs Office even when paul penzone takes over. He says the case and federal monitor are too costly. Training will be implemented to meet standards and expectations of the court and resolve it so that we are not paying additional fees that could go to safety, education, orother place. It was a race to rescue a pair of bald eagles from a storm drain in orlando today. And the entire ordeal, the rescue and all, was caught on camera. One of the eagles was stuck in a drain. So i reached down there and i grabbed the foot that was grabbing the neck, and then the other one is flailing, and then i grabbed the other foot, and i brought her up, and you saw the re.
