Up allegations sex assault against bill clinton in that debate tonight with Hillary Clinton. Those women are expected to be in the audience for the town hall debate along with former president bill clinton. And both nominees arrived in st. Louis earlier today and as they get ready to face each other in about an hour, they are expected to both face obviously some tough questions. Trump regarding his remarks on women and hillary expected to deal with those more recently leaked emails and big nes earlier both sides seeming to focus on donald trump. Are we really going to risk giving donald trump the majority he needs to roll back all of the progress we have made over the last eight years . I dont think so. I think the point that we make is he has apologized for this. And we believe if he gets to the issues he is the candidate that is much better suited to run the country. The real question is will large impact on the outcome tonight or even on the race as a whole. We have john hook and steve krafft in missouri to cover this highly anticipated event for us tonight. John, did you hear about this with donald trump and the Clinton Accusers now they are going to be in the audience. This really does seem like the biggest reality show you could imagine. Incredible. I think what we have just seen with that facebook video released by donald trump is the first shot across the bow warning Hillary Clinton if you go there, im coming back very strong on you and your husband. I believe. He was sending out a message loud and clear if you go there, im coming back even stronger. So this is where we are and obviously donald trump fending off all of this after 48 hours of discussions about his use of the p word and speaking in disparaging remarks to women on board that access hollywood bus 11 years ago with billy bush. Years ago that has caught trump now in a firestorm. Like a magnet. Just i dont even and when you are a star they let you do it. You can do whatever you want. Grab them by the [laughter] do anything. Okay, we now know that who trump was talking about was the access hollywood cohost nancy odel. She made a Statement Today saying how disappointed she was in all of this. Apparently talking about in that exchange. Lets bring in steve krafft here. Steve, we covered a lot of these. I have never seen one descend so into the gutter. I wonder what the American People will think of this. I thought there would be an apology from donald trump and he would pivot and talk about the concerns of regular people trying to make ends meet. Instead he seems to be going further down the rabbit hole into dredging up stuff that was a story many years ago and trying to give it currency right shouldnt be so surprised. Thats been his sort of his technique throughout. And he is trailing right now and he needs to change the trajectory of the race and that begins tonight because he has to make up ground at a time when he is really in some trouble and we know now that this will be the first question in the debate tonightam somebody either martha are a ddz or Martha Radditz or anderson cooper. And who knows what the audience will ask and who knows what donald trump who hasnt prepared m accounts will be comfortable in this format and the least bit convincing. And in a town hall format we will get half of the questions from uncommitted voters in that room. It doesnt lend itself to this unseemly discussion but thats what we will get tonight and the other half from the moderators. Steve, do you think trump is on the ropes now and needs a Game Changing moment tonight . I do. I think he has to make a genuine apology. Americans love a real apology and redemption story and root underdog and not the overdog and we will see if he can do it. Remember, he is a uniquely talented performer and political person. And if anybody can pull it off, his backers will tell you its donald trump. I guess we will see. We will see in an hours time. 90 minutes on that stage and it will be toe to toe. John, the questions that are coming from the audience, are these going to be audience members who have not decided yet . Or going to come with their own well, you never know. Gallop vetted these people so they tried to vet them and find true uncommitted voters. You always run the risk that somebody will slip in there with an agenda or make some news. Thats always a possibility. The debate planners, the commission behind the president ial debates has dawn good job over the years in getting people who are genuinely uncommitted and asked very good questions. There is no reason not to believe it wont happen tonight. And keep an eye on the other nonverbal. Almost as important in these town halls as what is said. Think about al gore walking up to george w. Bush and trying to impose his will on him and bush giving him that look. Will they shake hands . Thats a great question. Do they shake hands . I think you have to in the spirit of competition. How about a little hug . I dont think we will see a hug tonight. There will be no hugs tonight. It will be interesting to see how the beginning of this debate goes again. The interaction between the two candidates especially after Donald TrumpsFacebook Live this is going to be very interesting. We will see you coming up tonight at 6 00 and then the debate coverage afterwards. Thank you for doing a great job in st. Louis. We will see you then. We will continuing our Team Coverage of the debate, across the valley here people are tuning in and having debate watching parties and Stefania Okolie joins us live now at asu. Students and professors getting ready for the big event. Yeah, thats right. This debate thats taking place tonight. You know, students as well. Not only does this pertain to this future especially since they are College Students and it has to deal with jobs in the future for them, but really marc said it best, this is one big reality show and we know millenniums millennials love reality show. Winding down to this match between donald trump and Hillary Clinton. Now i ask professor clark olson who is a civil dialo thinks makes it so intriguing. Here is what he had to say about it especially pertaining to tonights debate that is just about an hour away. Th the time in history, those tapes were just leaked on friday and so everybody is inopportune to the news and really excited to see whats going to happen, how donald trump can ultimately defend himself, particularly major gop leaders to either step down from the ticket or to elevate pence. And just to see how he will react if he will be spoiled school boy, rich kid who is very privileged and not at all humble, or if he will come across tonight as a little more president ial, a little more humble about having made some mistakes and that this these are not just frat boy i mean, the man is 70 years old. And thats exactly what all of these students here want to see can donald trump even defend himself after they have heard all of those crude and lewd statements he has made about women on those recordings and what does hillary have to say about this . Will she continue defending her husband. Its really intriguing thing definitely the most bizarre election i think many people can agree with which is why its really attracting people of all again students will be gathering in 45 minutes. Its across the street from the performing center and we will be there to catch all of the action. Then afterwards professor clark tells me they will host a civil dialogue where they will sit on a round table and talk about any provocative statements from the debate which if they are anything like they were in the past, you know there will be several made. So they will talk about those and go through a ranking of whether or not they strongly agree or strongly d is really to just have the students start the converstion and have a civilized conversation, and then of course not argue about it but try to see why people have different opinions, maybe why someone supports donald trump and why someone doesnt or why someone supports Hillary Clinton and why someone doesnt. We will be there to bring you the latest. Live at tempe, im Stefania Okolie. Fox 10 news. The debate less than an hour away and you can watch it right and again john hook, steve krafft, they are both in st. Louis, they will be covering the debate for us and we will have a full recap tonight on a special edition of fox 10 news at 9 30 and 10 00. And the election is just weeks away.
