This is new video of that fire just into the kron four news room. Evacuations are now in place for ellen springs, clayton cree, highway 53 to dam road and Morgan Valley road. An Evacuation Center has been set up at the Highlands Senior Center in clearlake as well. That fire is 15percent contained. Lake county is all too familiar to wildfires. The valley fire broke out last september. Killing four people and destroying close to two thousand structures. The valley fire is considered californias third worst fire in history. And just this past week. The cause of the fire was released. Investigators say the fire was caused by faulty wiring for a hot tub. Cal fire says the homeowner admitted that he installed that circuit himself. According to the press democrat this homeowner is challenging the findings. We are also keeping our eye on several other wildfires burning across the state. Calfire has made major progress on a brushfire burning near morgan hill. So far, no evacuations have been ordered. Several miles of state highway one just south of point sur will be closed for up to 24hours starting this afternoon as firefighters continue to fight the blaze.
