A crash scene has still not been identified. The plane was expected to land in beijing at 6 30 this morning. A prison fight between three inmates was broken up by the guards after one of them shoots an inmate in the hand. The fight started at about 10 am friday morning at the Salinas Valley state prison two inmates attacked a third inmate and knocked him unconscious. Guards ordered them to stop and when they kept attacking the unconscious man, one guard fired a warning shot but the inmates kept going. Guards then fired a second shot that struck one inmate in the hand. Both inmates were taken to the hospital and are expected to be okay. A neighborhood in fresno is reeling after police shoot and kill a woman. It happened on friday at an Apartment Complex Police say a woman was threatening a man with an eightinch long carving knife. When officers arrived to the area the man was waiting for Police Outside the complex. Police say officers entered the apartment and asked the woman to drop the knife, but she refused. One officer had a taser and tried to stop the woman, but it appeared to have no effect. Thats when they said the woman then tried to attack the officers. Two 17yearolds from oregon are facing adult murder charges. Seventeenyearold Brett Pearson says he and his friend were high on meth when his parents were shot. Pearsons father survived, but his mother did not. He is now in jail accused of murdering one parent and shooting the other. Brett says he and his friend robert miller, had been using meth for three weeks straight and thats what fueled their actions. It was a sense of showing no emotion. They are at least six miles long found off the southern tip of vietnam. However, still no sight of Malaysia Airlines flight mh 370 and an airline official says hey have no idea where the plane is. Flight mh370 left kuala lampur 1230am local time expected in beijing around 630 but never made it. Less than an hour after takeoff the plane lost all contact. Flight boards at the beijing airport show the flight in red with the word delayed. Family and friends of those on board are now frantically awaiting answers. Authorities have yet to find a possible crash site and several countries are involved in search and rescue operations at this hour. Holding out hope they will find survivors. I do not want to speculate. I know they are all safe and we are doing everything in our powers to find out where the plane is. We do not need to speculate the worst. I think it is far too early. The pilots of the plane did not make a distress call. But new this hour. Several countries are calling into question the flight manifest. Both austria and italy say passengers listed on board the plane from their country. Are not on the plane and have been located. Officials are working to confirm those people previously had their passports stolen. Unclear what if any role that plays in the planes dissappearence. The charges against ronald include kidnapping and forcible lewd acts on a minor. The 32 year old suspect is being held on 17 Million Dollars bail. If convicted could spend the rest of his life in prison. Richmond Police Say Six boys have come forward with complaints of sexual abuse against guinto. A man was arrested on suspicion of dui and other charges friday afternoon after crashing into two cars and injuring three people in San Franciscos russian hill neighborhood, a Police Sergeant said. Officers responded to a report of a collision at the intersection of van ness avenue and broadway street around 12 10 p. M. , sgt. Eric oneil said. A man later identified as 26yearold Jacob Sahagun was driving south on van ness avenue when he collided with two vehicles driving east on broadway street, oneil said. Sahagun was under the influence at the time of the collision, according to the sergeant. Oneil said sahagun and three others involved in the collision were injured, but none of the injuries were considered to be lifethreatening. Hundreds of people gathered to remember a 14 yearold girl. Who was hit and killed by a train in martinez. Jenna bettis friends and family gathered at a Pleasant Hill church on friday for her funeral. Jenna was struck sunday evening by a freight train. Her mother. Dena betti says, jenna was on the tracks with her boyfriend before the collision. She said, they saw the train coming. And got off the tracks. But jenna went back to get her cell phone. And thats when she was hit. The chp believes two boys are responsible for the recent water bottle throwing incidents last month in the north bay. Bottles were thrown at cars, trucks and buses traveling at high speeds in the sebastopol and santa rosa areas. The chp says as many as ten vehicles were hit. Including two school buses. Carter tyson tonys boss sot he was just a great kid wonderful personality inside of a week at the dealership everybody was just his friend we felt he was one of the family several witnesses told the chp that tony was speeding 100 mph and making unsafe lane changes before losing control of his car and crashing off the highway.
