In many of these videos you can hear the protesors chanting, no justice, no peace. But despite that cry, most of the protests against the verdict have in fact been peaceful. I never could quite understand people even people with law degrees who had not read all of the Police Reports who had not read all of the witness statements, yet who came up with opinions one way or the other. And this team of people standing with me who stand with me every day in the 4th circuit and try tough cases like this all the time knew that we had to do the best to get the entire facts and details of jury. I am gratified by the jurys verdict, as happy as i am for George Zimmerman, im thrilled that this jury kept this tragedy from becoming a travesty. Grateful. But it makes me sad too that it took this long under these circumstances to finally get justice. We teach the discipline of accident investigation, namely to observe the fact, to document the fact and then let the facts take you by the hand and lead you to the next fact, and the discipline not to conclude, not to summarize and not to think too far ahead, but to stick to the facts. and so how wrong am i . Youre right. But minutes later, i jump to a faulty conclusion looking at different wreckage. It almost looks like a crumpled beer can. And what we see here is the power of a thunderstorm. Aircraft . Theres no evidence of lightning strike. This is simply evidence of an aircraft being torn apart by the severe turbulence that is contained in a thunderstorm.
