Our young people, our being recruited into. Criminal activity. Oakland city, Councilmember Loren Taylor says hes devastated to see another shooting in his city. The 2 boys were from berkeley. The issues that we face. Do not respect the city battery order of berkeley, Latin Organization confirmed to kron 4 that this gofundme is for the victims 15 yearold angel and 17 yearold jazzy so it says younger, a younger every day and 20 towers is the chair of the oakland violence prevention coalition. The Organization Works with young people to show them that they dont need to turn to violence. Yeah, this over solved without fire. Its a sad. Theres a lot of the situations. Their name has not yet been released. Oakland police are asking for anyone with any information to give them a call. Sideshows were also a major problem across the bay area last night. One of them breaking out in San Francisco where one person was seen being struck by a spinning car. The Police Officer is injured after being struck by a car. Police say the officer was responding to an unresponsive driver who stopped in the middle of the road around 10 oclock this morning when the officer tried to wake the driver up, that driver then took off on wentworth avenue and then hit the officer with his car. The officer had to be taken to a nearby hospital. The unknown driver is still on the loose, but that officer is apparently recovering. Now to an update on a story that we first brought you last night here on kron. 4 news. Weve learned that a woman is now dead after a hit and run in walnut creek. That woman was struck at the intersection of north california blvd and civic drive. Officers had to close off that area for several hours. Police say the woman was crossing the street around 07 00pm when she was hit by a driver and a gold or tan 4 door sedan. Walnut creek police are asking for help in identifying this driver. Were continuing to follow developments tonight in the case of missing east bay woman, alexis gave the family telling us that volunteers may have discovered human remains belonging to the 24 yearold remains were found in a remote area of Amador County on wednesday of last week. Tonight, her father says hes hoping the bones belong to his daughter so their family can have some kind of closure. The dna testing will still have to take place. But it could drop 10 inches of rain throughout localized parts along the western portion. So localized flooding and deadly flooding.
