Homicide and whether or not Police Believe the killings just after midnight tuesday,the body of luis estrada was found on the ground here in hillcrest park. Investigators from concord pds Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and closed off the area for several hours. According to police, estrada had been shot once and was declared dead at the scene. His murder makes him the fourth person this year in concord to die from gunshot wounds. Reporter the previous three homicides had all occurred on or near monument boulevard, several miles away. Reporter on september 12th, 20 year old old erick cruz was killed along meadow lane near monument. On october 5th, 25yearold Robert Ortega was shot near lacey lane and monument and on november 20th, 36year old Arturo Arellano was killed near erickson road and monument.
