If an ebola infected patient walks into this hospital, nurses here dont believe they have sufficient training to handle it safely. This is a virus that is changing very quickly and we want to have the most optimal protection. Caregivers that arent being adequately trained are being blamed. Were hearing that they arent following protocol, when weve been asking hospitals throughout the country for proper training. In a National Nurses united survey, 85percent of nurses say their hospital has not provided education on ebola where they can interact and ask questions. And 76percent claim their hospital has not disclosed any guidelines of admitting ebola infected patients it makes me very angry in a statement, a rep from Kaiser Permanente says we are prepared when needed to isolate patients in specially equipped rooms for patients with potential Infectious Disease. Seventeen people were arrested last night at a protest in front of a gas station. Police say that protestors were trying to storm the business. They also say the demonstrators were throwing rocks at officers. There were no injuries or damage to property in this protest. It happened during a night ride at a familyowned farm saturday. Authorities say the jeep hauling the hayride lost control. The accident left a 17yearold girl dead and nearly two dozen others injured. Paul merrill has the latest on the investigation. State Police Escort the trailer from last nights hayride accident away from the scene late sunday morning. Sergeant joel davis with the state Fire Marshals Office says it appears that the jeep that was towing the trailer had some sort of mechathat preventem stopping. It was about 8 30 saturday night when the ride went off the road and hit a tree. The crash happened in a heavily wooded area and seriously hurt both pumpkin land workers and ride patrons. A 17yearold girl from maine who was riding the hayride was flown to maine med where she died overnight. Two other victims were flown to Central Maine Medical Center in lewiston. Event spokesman Scott Lansley says those two victims were workers on the ride. Lansley says the man driving the jeep is an experienced and licensed truck driver. Hes already out of the hospital. Louis postdispatch reports brian and susan trost bought the Weldon Spring home in 2007 for 450,000 and discovered the spiders soon after moving in. Susan trost says the spiders were everywhere, including one she had to dodge as it fell from the ceiling and washed down the drain as she was showering.
