the scene. you see shell casing markers. police say the suspcet pulled up beside the victim and shot him at least once. the victim then trying to get away.crossed over the median. suspect shoots at the victim again. the victim's car took out a small tree.lost his bumber. then he continued into the opposing lanes of traffic. went over the curb, across the sidewalk and down the revine. kron four's teresia estacio talked to police about the investigation and shows us the scene from ground level. >> reporter: we can see from this angle is to can hopefully provide some a valuable evidence of what ignited the shooting. >> we are going to canvass the area and do some background on our victim's of who they are. >> reporter: they say that the victim was critically injured in the is recovering a local hospital. they're also not revealing what type of gun with that least three types of bullet casings on the roadway. the motive is still under investigation. >> it could have been a robbery, we just do not know. >> the only description is that we have a deep brown vehicle. which we know is not a lot. continuing our team coverage. kron4's terisa estacio has the latest on the investigation and the victim's condition. this is a look at the car from the ground. stuck in the thick brush on the side of the steep embankment, here on keller avenue. the vehicle was later pulled up the cliff and back over on to the street. investigators are hoping as they examine the honda civic hybrid. it can provide some valuable evidence as they piece together what ignitied this shooting. this is police critically injured with a gunshot wound and taken to a local hospital. police are also not revealing what type of gun was involved. there were at least 3 bullet casings on the roadway. as far as a another tool in an attempt to enter the house until something scares them and they high tail it out the back yard and the woman with the baby that was knocking on the door heads towards the car but acres into a shopping center. these are renderings showing what the project could look like. safeway wants to build the 25- acre complex, and says the development would include shops, restaurants, a proposed development the orchards at walnut creek. the grocery store chain wants to put in more than 200,000 square feet of commercial and residential space on this 24 acre site... which sits along ygnacio valley road at oak grove road. this is a google earth view looking north across the site as it is now. the anchor store of the development would be a new 55,000 square foot safeway grocery store located here. but that's just the beginning...there would also be a junior anchor store next door as well as 7 other commercial buildings around the site. to the north of the safeway there would be a new residential development and there are also plans to put in a fitness center here. in additional, large parking lots would be built through out the site. the remaining space around these on the oakland campus this morning. the suspect. former student one goh. is accused of coming on to campus and opening fire. victims cars. and was arrested in alameda a short time later. goh has been deemed incompetent to stand trial. and remains in a mental hospital. a brief court appearance today. for the man who crashed his car through the front doors of a san jose walmart and attacked customers on sunday. haamid zaid was in court in connection with a range of charges. dating back to 2012. they include possession of drugs, vandalism, hit and run and resisting arrest. court records obtained by kron 4 news show. that zaid crashed his car into a san jose chevron station and threw a chair through a window at rosie mccann's pub at santana row, and telling police, he was high on drugs both times. zaid is scheduled to be back in court on thursday. an officer involved shooting that followed a series of 9- 1-1 calls ends, with a 28- year-old man in the hospital. after being shot this year and the company is reportedly developing a low cost version. kron four's jeff bush explains what apple has brewing for this summer. traditionally, apple launches new technology in the fall. the iphone 4s and the iphone 5 were both released in september. but, it looks like the newest iphone will be released some time this summer. asian manufacturers of the components used to make the iphone have hinted that production is about to start for the new model. all of this is big news but, perhaps, an even bigger development will come along at the same time. according to published reports, apple, is working on a low cost version of the iphone. this is in stark contrast to the company's tradition of producing pricey, products for the apple faithful to consume. the idea for the low cost model is to make the darling phone available to people in developing countries and others who simply can't afford a six hundred dollar phone. the new, lower cost model will reportedly have a four inch screen and the body will be made from less expensive materials like plastic. apple inc. is notoriously tight lipped about unreleased products so we will all have to wait until apple rolls
