A teacher from Benicia Middle School has been arrested for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a student. According to the school superintendent. 56 yearold kurt Michael Sandel sent sexually inappropriate messages to a student. The School District notified police who arrested sindel on friday. He was booked on suspicion of harmful matter, sent with intent of to a minor, which is a felony. No other information was released. Police say the investigation is ongoing. A 37 yearold oakley man was killed in a solo car crash in brentwood. This happened near grand street and fairview avenue just before 7. 30, this morning. Brentwood police say the vehicle involved had overturned and when they arrived, they found the victim inside. No one else was involved in this crash. Police believe the driver was speeding at the time and toxicology results are right now pending the name of the victim has not been released. It happened in the eastbound lanes just east of the caldecott tunnel around one. 45 a uhaul truck towing an rv, lost control and overturned, triggering a sig alert. When David Schwartz joined the u. S. Geological survey in 1985, he says the focus was on the San Andreas Fault in southern california.
