>> first of all comparisons to jim walsh are a long way off i have a tremendous amount of work ahead of me. before that could never be said to compare. i have the greatest respect for bill walsh demand, the person he is in the integrity has and the coach. i had the chance to get to know him were really well when i took the stanford job and i looked at his picture every day i've had the sense that he's been looking down over our program. i wish she was here right now, he's the greatest of like said it's with great humility please don't compare. >> your quarterback for 15 years in the lake gulls one assistant coach along the way for mr. davis and oakland i'd be curious what you change your style working at the college level to now being head coach in the pros in any regard? >> there's things that may change but there's things that are going to change and the fact that love football and coaching. you've got to bring a lot of energy to both college and pro. and i don't think the enthusiasm will drop off any bad at all because i could feel the enthusiasm coursing through my veins right >> what influence did your wife have on this decision jim?
