Vicki we have an update to a story we first brought to you last night. A man missing since monday has been found dead in San Francisco. Police say Michael Shaffer was last seen in san mateo where he lives. This picture had been circulating since he was reported missing by his family early in the week. They said he had a medical condition and may have been without his medication. Information on where shaffer was found in San Francisco has not been released. Police have not yet told us how he died. San Leandro Police say they need the publics help. Finding a group of vandals that have been using bb guns to shoot cars, buildings , and now people the shooters behavior escalated on march 24th and march 25th , when they began taking aim at civilians. Over a dozen people have been shot at , none of which have had serious injuries. this is a safe neighborhood, but i hope they can find the people vicki in a effort to find the suspects , police have increased patrols in the area. Since the beef up in authorites, no additional incidents involving bb guns being shot have been reported since last week. Police say the suspects have been spotted commiting these 2000s model ford explorer. The culprits have shot out over 125 vehicles windows. And have caused nearly 60,000 dollars worth of total damage. Authorites are asking anyone with answers to call 911 two people from salinas are now facing several charges after they were caught on Surveillance Video stealing a package. These are stills of the suspects. Police say 38yearold Jennifer Padgett and 27yearold billy davis were both taken into custody yesterday. Padgett was caught on video stealing the package from a home near hartnell college. An officer spotted a truck matching the description of the one used in the theft. And stopped to talk with the driver. The officer identified padgett as the driver. Police searched the vehicle and found herion, meth and the stolen package. The head missing from the Junipero Serra statue in santa cruz. Has been found. A young girl spotted the missing statue head off the coast of monterey. It was during low tide when she saw it. Which is almost directly across the street from where the statue stands. Last year, vandals broke into the Santa Cruz Mission following pope francis canonization of serra. And lobbed off the head of the statue during the raid. Monterey police are currently investigating. They tell us. It is too soon to tell if the head can be reattached to the statue. Federal investigators will be examining data and video from a derailment that was caused when the train hit a piece of heavy equipment on the tracks.
