Stabbing death of 34 year old colleen shawpolice got a break in the casean undercover Redwood City Police officers spotted the only suspect in the case at this home on massachusetts avenue. Captain dave norris our surveience team, just before five, it was about 4 45, spotted a subject who they believed to be the suspect entering that jeff police felt confident they had found 22 year old anthony kirincic. Neighbors were told to go inside the swat team set up a perimeter and kirincic was surrounded with no place to go. Captain dave norris a flash bang was deployed. Jeff distracting the suspect. And, sending concerned neighbors away from their windows. Nigel very scary. Jeff the team took kirinsic into custody very quicklythat was about 7 30. As you might imagine, residents were stunned to see the whole thing unfold in their neighborhood. That officer Christopher Kohrs who is well known for his good looks and charity appearances is now facing two felony hit and run charges. in my opinion they were dead miraculous. Friends and family are mourning the death of an oakland nurse. 66yearold Patricia Alvarez was hit by a car last wednesday night near ucsf Childrens Hospital oakland. Police say the driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. Alvarez died yesterday at a local hospital. A hospital spokesperson released a Statement Today saying our entire Hospital Community is grieving the tragic loss of nurse Patricia Alvarez. Patty was a mentor and leader to many in her career at the hospital. Two major Power Outages left thousands of customers in the dark in San Francisco and sunnyvale tonight. One outage.
