getting showers right on through walnut creek also through the livermore valley. fremont picking up a few rain drops as well this current hour. peninsula. looks look roaming cells. hit or miss showers. everything very light though at this current hour and up into the napa valley. we are still continuing to see a few rain drops there. looks like right along i-80 as you head towards vacaville still picking up showers there as well. but it looks like we will continue to see the chance for wet weather as we head into tomorrow morning. we will take you through the time line of that coming up in a few minutes. new details tonight about the investigation into the attack on bryan stow. he is the san francisco giants fan who was beaten outside the los angeles dodgers stadium nearly seven weeks ago now. well, today lead investigators from l.a.p.d. released new information about their search for the two suspects. >> reporter: the los angeles police chief says they have received hundreds of leads in the bryan stow case but still these suspects have not yet been caught. he says that these guys are not dodgers fans. he says they are thugs who need to be taken off the streets. >> we believe there are people that know. we believe that there are family members and friends that know. >> reporter: the chief and his detectives with the los angeles police department reaching out for help with the bryan stow case. >> we have prioritized each and every one of these over 500 leads. they range from simple leads of looks like the guy at mcdonald's. >> reporter: stow was beaten outside dodgers stadium more than six weeks ago. tuesday police announced they have had more than 500 leads. they believe the attacker may have been wearing an andre ethier dodger jersey. the attack left stow in critical condition and in the last 24 hours stow was transferred to san francisco general hospital. police say the attack lasted less than 30 seconds and they are hoping that someone comes forward with new information. >> we are going to make or break this on a lead. we want to do everything we can so that we can bring justice for this particular crime and closure for the stow family and it is going to be done by your clue. so if you have a clue, call it in. >> i did talk with bryan stow's parents who you see in this picture right behind me. they said that doctors plan on holding a press conference wednesday morning to update everyone on bryan stow's current health condition. for now reporting in the newsroom, j.r. stone, kron 4 news. new tonight at 11 p.m. two passengers booted off a u.s. airways flight because one of them reportedly made a comment about the plane being late and said it was the airline's fault. the passengers say that's when the flight attendant ordered them to leave the plane. the airline's reaction. a story you will see only here on kron 4. >> reporter: luke hazelwood and his girlfriend didn't meet the airline passenger until after all three boarded a u.s. airways flight at s.f.o. they had no idea what they were about to experience on flight 1496 bound for charlotte, north carolina, would not only unite them but would be an experience they won't soon forget. it all started before they even got on the plane. the flight was running an hour late due to bad weather but hazelwood's girlfriend says they were never told that. >> we kept checking to see if we were boarding. the sign said on time. >> there was a serious panic caused by the flight attendant. >> the way that the flight attendant expressed or blared over the intercom intercom. >> i said we are boarded an hour late and the flight attendant said what did you say? >> i was appalled seeing that i would look at a flight attendant as someone to be caring. >> i repeated what i said. you boarded us an hour later. you should be accountable. >> mr. hazelwood just expressed his view point that if you weren't an hour later. >> and she said you're gone. you're going home. kicked me off the flight. >> reporter: hazelwood's girlfriend was not kicked off the flight but decided to leave the plane with her boyfriend. >> kicked me off as well just making the point she could have approached the situation very differently. so we have a traveling irate flight attendant from san francisco to charlotte. >> krause was rebooked on another flight. hazelwood and his girlfriend were also rebooked for the following day. hazelwood says the airline would not compensate him for his hotel room. all u.s. airways is saying about the incident is that the passengers interfered with the flight crew and in the interest of safety they had to be removed. in the newsroom, kron 4 news. so what are a passenger's rights on board a plane? according to passenger rights advocate, a flight attendant can remove you from a plane if they deem you a risk. but the problem is most flight attendants are not trained to know what a risk is. >> flight attendants union has not given specific instructions as far as we know to the flight attendances. we know they have no self- defense training and they have no actual instruction as to how to assess basic risks inside a plane. we do believe they have some terrorist training and some things they are told to look for but these basic behaviors that people have when people express frustration and believe me there is a lot of frustration with air travel these days, these kind of things are very subjective. don't appear to be any protocols it is just a flight attendant making a subjective determination. could be as simple as somebody has a logo on their sweatshirt that the flight attendant thinks is offensive. people have been arrested for that. >> in fact, she says she is contacted about similar incidents about passengers removed from planes several times a month. new accusations and video of alleged misconduct by sfpd officers. surveillance video from a residential hotel in the city's mission district. the video shows undercover officers entering the building carrying nothing. a man claims after police left his laptop and camera were gone. this is footage of the officers leaving. two are carrying what the public defender says appears to be a backpack and camera bag. these are the same officers accused of crossing the line in the tenderloin district. he says this tape shows undercover narcotics officers stealing. >> personal items belonging to residents at two different hotels, two different parts of the city were taken. that is theft. that is a crime. that is not allowed under police authority. just because you're a police officer you don't have the right to go into somebody's room and remove personal property and keep it. >> he says none of the items allegedly taken from the hotel was checked into evidence. in response to the accusations, sfpd chief gregg sirr explained what steps the department is taking? >> any officers that were seen in any of these videos, none are in plain clothes as of my speaking. i've got to emphasize. all these officers are innocent until proven guilty. >> sirr said dishonesty will not be tolerated. sirr made those comments shortly after he and mayor ed lee swore in the department's new command staff today at city hall. we see the video here. city leaders say the command staff is part of a streamlining process which will save more than $1 million in management costs. a bombshell of faced with almost whiteout conditions and were happy to see the sign telling them the end of the treacherous driving was near. you can see that the snow was piling up fast. take a look at our live van. didn't take long for the snow to start accumulating on the side of the van. we were parked here for about an hour and the windshield was completely covered with snow and ice. a quick walk through a snow drift shows how much snow is on the ground and it is the middle of may. snow chains were required for the trip and for good reason. the roadway was covered with snow that had been falling all afternoon. cal-trans and chp did what they could to slow the pace of traffic occasionally stopping traffic all together and for good reason. on the way up the mountain we were stopped near baxter. a but here is a look at your storm tracker 4. bit different than several hours ago. starting to see things really start to improve in terms of that wet weather. still seeing a few rain drops from hayward down into fremont. along the peninsula a much dryer picture across the board. so sticking with overcast conditions at this current hour then wet weather travels through vacaville as you head through the central valley. check out the foothills. really starting to see some heavy downpours there. snow continuing up in the sierra. in fact, we could see some moderate to heavy snowfall throughout the evening hours. a winter storm warning in effect until tomorrow morning. snow levels down to about 4000 feet. could get about a foot of snow in the higher elevations. so here is a look at futurecast 4 as we take you through the evening hours. it looks like into early tomorrow morning we are going to continue to see these isolated scattered showers especially right on through places like mountain view down into san jose as well and this will continue. however, much dryer picture tomorrow. in fact, we will continue to dry out. and it looks like as we head into the latter part of your day on wednesday we will actually see a bit of a dry day out there. and maybe that sunshine coming out as well. so here is a look at your morning lows. overnight getting down to about 43 in places like santa rosa. 50 degrees in san francisco. tomorrow temperatures will warm up a bit more. that sunshine expected to break through at points. and then we dry out nicely by the end of the
