69 days. here is a look. >> reporter: mission complete. after the last five of 33 minors made the assent to freedom. 2,000 people were gathered as minor number 30 reached the surface. this is not his first tragedy. the ship yard he worked at was destroyed in a earthquake. his wife and children were happy to see him survive once again. minor number 31 steps out of the capsule. he helped set up the communication system. his daughter jumped into his arms for the first time in months. the next minor, number look has two daughters. he stepped out into his wife's arms. she gave birth while he was trapped. he was able to see his daughter while trapped thanks to a recording. the final minor made it to the surface. luis urzua was the formen when the mine collapsed. he helped keep order in the mine. threw his leadership they survived for 69 days. the men will be checked out and treated. but tonight, the men are celebrated as heroes, having survived in a trapped mine 2,000 feet under the earth's surface. >> the question for the minors, what now? they have gone from living in a hole for 69 days to becoming incident celebrities. razz kron 4's cath ren reports, some think the trip myth be the beginning of their journing. >> reporter: after this first big rush, the months ahead could include mental problems. some might find it impossible to ever go underground again and even reading about their ordeal in the media could trigger panic attacks. think about it, going from living like this for 69 days, to being hailed from everyone like president obama -- >> thank you very much. >> reporter: to the pope. and talk about product placement. each is wearing a $260 oakly sun glasses. people around the world have been watching. the minors have been getting coaching on how to deal with the interview de-mind. they will each get a 50 from $20,000 from a wealthy minor and that's probably just the beginning, book and movie deals pending. but there is also drama. when this man was brought to the surface today, the woman waiting to greet him with hugs and kisses was not his wife, but his mistress. when his wife found out she decide not to be part of the welcoming committee. cath rene, kron 4 news. another day of record setting temperatures. this afternoon 90s. 92 oakland. 93 san jose. 67 in pacifica. a surge up the coast line of fog. right now much cooler, closer to the coast line than anywhere else, 70s. little cooler in the north bay. and in fairfield. i will let you know how cool it's going to get in a bit. parents in san jose are on edge after a man tried to abduct a one-year-old girl while her mother was pushing her in broad day light. >> reporter: this is a sketch of the man police are looking for. investigators say the man tried to abduct a one-year-old girl right here in front of the condo entrances at 11:45 a.m. tuesday. the officer says investigators are looking for anyone who may have saw the attack. >> the victim was walking with her one-year-old daughter, she had the boughter in a push car, she wasn't sure what kind of car it was, foreign or domestic. the car makes a u turn, comes up next to her, stops next to her as she is walking. she notices the driver exits the car and he fallowed her before he approached her. put his hand on her shoulder and pushed her aside and then reached around her down towards where the child was, so we do believe he was trying to grab the child. she fought the suspect off. >> reporter: the abductor ran off and drove away in a two door red car. parents are shocked this happened. the abductor is a hispanic male, 5'8", average build, dark hair and eyes. wearing a black t-shirt and a blue mechanic jump suit. reggie kumar, kron 4 news. the city of oaklandicide trying to make this area off to the limits of the [ inaudible ] street gang. the city filed a injunction against the gang. if the judge grants it, the entire area would be called a safety zone. the people named would be barred from associating together after 10:00 at night. police say gang members have been involved in 35 shootings just this year and people say something has to be done about it. >> it can't just continue the way it is with all these young kids shooting at other and young people getting caught in the middle. >> city already has an injunction in place against people gangs. they are holding a rally tomorrow. the ntsb is waying in on the san bruno explosion tonight. why the report provides more questions than answers ahead on kron 4 news.
