Attempted burglary in vallejo now one more victim has come forward with growing concern tonight. She says police have yet to show up to her home to collect evidence and file a report. A vallejo woman came home to this video captured on her surveillence cameras thursday night around 6 15. You know you cant be home 24 7 its frightening its really frightening. Two unknown men repeatedly banged on the front door at janice street then cased all sides of her home for an entry. All the while the cameras kept recording and her son was inside. I do have security cameras installed but i just recently put up signs letting them know that there is 24 hour surveillance. And they need to stay away. She now warns her community about the second attempt back to back this week in the area. I was targeted. They definitely targeted me. They pulled up and came straight to my house. Thursday we brought you a report from a Home Invasion nearby on cimmaron drive. You can see in the video the burglars managed to get inside as the homeowner walked in on them. They took off running. But she says its the second time theives targeted her home in the past two months. Its not clear if the two cases are related. The latest victim is upset saying she called police immediately after the burglars left but they have yet to respond and file a report. They need to step it up a couple of notches. I shouldnt have to wait until something has happened myself or my son or my property is stolen before you do something. Once again we dont know at this time if the two cases are connected. Investigators say, Deputy Leonel Groba was arrested for allegedly assaulting an inmate. In a separate incident a seargent named Robert Liddle was arrested on suspicion of secretly recording an employee sworn to the department. No other detailed information about the alleged crimes has yet been released. A wet weekend is on the way. This is a live look now clear at the moment but changes are ahead. Crews worked to fix major damage after a dump truck hit an overpass. Causing it to crack. But as kron4s Charles Clifford shows us the repairs are still far from over just before 11pm on thursday, the driver of this dump truck was travelling southbound on 101 with his trailer in the up position. When he reached the embarcadero road overpass the trailer slammed into the structure. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. When the trailer was pulled away from the overpass, crews found a 25 foot crack in the concrete. Through out the day on friday, caltrans engineers and crews examined the damage and found that it was even worse than they first suspected. They now believe that a 4550 section of the overpass is damaged and a steel support girder is also damaged. As a temporary fix, crews wrapped a tarp around the damaged concrete to keep chunks from falling onto the roadway below. All lanes of 101 were reopened just before 6pm but one west bound lane above the overpass will remain closed indefinitely. Caltrans also said on friday that it will take extensive work to repair the damaged girder and concrete. At this point its unclear when that work will begin or how much it will cost. That is all about to change with a storm moving in for the weekend. Were already seeing showers in far northern california. The storm will slowly slide south overnight tonight. Showers could start as early as tomorrow morning with steady rain developing during the late morning in the north bay and moving south into the afternoon. Showers will continue on sunday with below average tempeartures. We could even see a few snowflakes on our highest bay area mountains. And were expecting to one to two feet of snow in the sierra. Tempeartures will be much cooler with highs in the 50s to low 60s. A few raindrops could linger into monday morning before a return to dry and warmer weather next week
