Drivers say that someone in the car shot at a pickup Truck Driving westbound near the bailey off ramp. The truck made it off of the highway to a gas station on willow pass road and the cars in the video you can see the broken glass and remarkably police say no one was injured. The chevron is located in an unincorporated area of Contra Costa County and the sheriff is investigating. Close to 30 highway shootings in recent months. We have been digging into tobin woods schools. We have what is next for the embattled school. Reporter here is video of a students being slapped. Two aids were fired. The shocking tape prompted criminal charges against those aids and launched an investigation of the California Department of education. It also got kron4 news to dig deeper. I found several former aids willing to come forward with other tales about Staff Members abusing their power over the special needs students under their care. I have seen staff where they have had to be restrained. And staff talking down and really disrespectful to students and they feel that the students are lower than them. We learned that two other tobin aids we talked to were subpoenaed by the state department of justice after coming forward to kron4. This is call tobin world 2 where the boy was captured being abused but this school site is not shutting down but i got my hands on a released record showing how tobin world is pulling out of four school sites and three of which just opened up this recent school year. Here is the letter from judy weber the executive director dated two months after the explosive cell phone video and after kron4 news looked into the history. Addressed to the Antioch School district letting them know of the timeline. Tobin world 3 at Fremont School shut down june 2nd. Dpt academy at vista and ant preschool at grand elementary are closing and kt elementary closes on thursday. Tobin world cant respond because of pending litigation prompted by the video and the antioch offices were not opened friday so we dont know the exact reason why the campuses are shutting down. A source familiar with special education in the district says two other private schools that work with special need kids, spectrum and sierra are in the process of taking over the programs. One of the former aids says that is good news for antioch parents. It gives parents a resource to put their kids into different schools. A bicycle charged with hitting a zip car has pleaded guilty today. 39yearold ian esfelt pleaded guilty to felony assault to the incident. Back in september he initially pleaded not guilty to the crime he committed all caught on camera when a driver failed to yield to a group of bicyclists and he then hit the vehicle and currently out of custody and scheduled to return to court on july 25th for sentencing. A pet store employee pleaded not guilty to animal abuse and cruelty after strangling a dog to death. He took the customers dogs to clip the dogs nails and when the dog wouldnt hold steal he strangled it. The owners were in court and told how devastated they were.
