And here is a look at the Richmond Bridge ride, things are backing up now and that means slow doing between the park pais and cost row onand castro. All right, thank you, it was a story that ended with a happy ending on monday. The parents of an 8yearold who was kidnapped, they were not upset. The child was found safe but the parents say they were treated like criminals and now we are seeing a video of the interaction between the boys mother and the officer. Reporter good morning, mark, i am here at the fair field Police Head Quarters and i talked to the parents on monday, they could not be happier, they were so happy that their 8yearold son was returned after being almost abducted. But now there is a change in their view of what happened that morning and they may file a complaint against the Police Department. Now lets talk about what happened monday morning. According to paul and suzanne, they put their 8yearold in the back of the car, went back inside to get something, came back out and the car was gone. Then they called the Police Department. A search ensued. Now it was only three hours later that they were able to find the car abandoned with the boy still if the backseat, asleep. And now they have hired an attorney because they say they were treated unfairly by the Police Department. The police say they have body cameras on the officers and they recorded it. They wanted to go inside the home, and this is what happened. Is there a reason why you do not wanttous go in there . Yes, i do not want you in my house. It is my house, my personal space. I do not want you invading my personal space. We care about your 8year old son. So do i. Okay. Do you know how many people have told us that is and have a dead person inside their house. Quiet down. Reporter now the family, bottom them, paul and suzanne were both handcuffed but never charged with a crime. And now the Police Department says this is tan toward operating pro see jury. They usually search the immediate area around the area where the last, where the child was last seen, including inside of the home to make sure that the child is not there or hiding some where near by. Now as i said, mark, these two people, paul and suzanne say that they have hired an attorney. This morning, the police are looking for victims of a registered sex offender who has been working as a therapist. He was arrested, he was working here at the murphy salon hair and nails and he is accused of sexually assaulting a woman. The salon is on north kinston street. It was not licensed to off ma sausages. We are looking to see if people also came here for a massage and if there is maybe anyone else that reported a similar type of activity or perhaps may be victims of a crime as well. Police are continuing to investigate the allegations at the salon. And making International Headlines this morning, the coast guard in italy has now brought more than 400 rescued my grabs to the shores of sicily. Here is a video of them arriving at the port. The 880 approach is slow. And so is the east shore freeway coming around the corner from the berkeley curve. Heading to 92 and the san mateo bridge, slower and slower as the traffic here, the westbound ride, we have been problem free, thankfully but we still have 1920 minute drive times heading over to san may stay owe. And slowmateo and slow going at the richland toll plaza, the ride is backed up. An an accident happened here on highway 84, which is of course, the bridge, and that accident at ardenwood is slowing the ride on the freeway southbound, and adding to the delays getting on to the span, though the bridge itself is an easy ride heading over to east pal low alto westbound. The fire crews on the scene and they are in the process of clearing the area. They have put the fire out this morning but they believe it started inside this bottom at unit. It caught on fire around 5 45 a. M. This morning. Three surrounding units were also damaged with fire and smoke, or with water from the fire crew whose responded. Now there was a lot of smoke coming from the completion and several people had to pass through the walkways to get to safety. We are told that one person and one Police Officer suffered smoke inhalation, they were taken to the hospital. In total, at least four of the units are displaced as a result of the blaze. The cause is still under investigation. But even though you have two people with injuries this morning, the fire crews say they were fortunate that given the sides of the fire they did not have more serious injuries. Here is a break down of today, our day park forecast here, this morning, we are looking for fog and again, drizzle for the coast and higher peaks driving through the low clouds. We have temperatures around 11 00 a. M. , to noon, right in the upper 60s to low 70s inland. Low 60s by the bay. And by 3 00 p. M. This afternoon, more sunshine today and the temperatures will be warmer today than yesterday. So it is good news for you if wow want more sunshine. We will warm up to 77 inland. Two men showed a handgun and they took off with cash, and a cell phone from four days. And then a boy and a girl just north of the Shopping Center, they were confronted again, by two young men, and their cell phones were stolen and then half an hour after that, another robbery reported in antiokay. Fare collectors are continuing to have armed sectorty guards with them. Yesterday, the San Francisco board of supervisors approved a 38 Million Contract to allow Cyber Security to keep providing the armed guards. The supervisors against this are wondering about the e. Effectiveness. But sometimes they carry thousands of dollars in cash. And the san jose Police Department will be getting a new crime mapping system who aims to predict when and where crimes will occur been they happened. The city Council Voted yesterday to allocate half a Million Dollars to the system. The Department Hopes that the Crime Tracker will make better use of the citys limited number of users.
