You can see some clouds over head in this shot here from sfo at the moment, the rain hasnt arrived all though the clouds are causing problems about 4 minutes s. Nd temperatures in the upper 50s to low 6 60s. Mid70s inland, by 3 00 in the afternoon, it will be mostly sunny with mild temperatures, look at that, mid70s by the bay, low 80s generally for our inland valleys, maybe well geta mid80 here or there. Temperatures will fall as we head into tomorrow the clouds will thicken up. This is what were expecting the storm out in the Pacific Northwest, i should say impacting the Pacific Northwest will bring us some rain by wednesday night, ill talk about that in our full look at the forecast coming up at 7 15. Stick around for that. Good morning james. As we are tracking the bay bridge, keeping an eye on that in anticipation of possible problems. It appears as though this reconfiguration hasnt yet had an impact on the westbound ride. However, that could be due in part that the lights have been cycling very slowly since they were turned on about an hour and 20 minutes ago, we are already backed up into the maze, so there isnt a lot of traffic getting on to the upper deck of the bay bridge currently. That might have something to do with why things are still running so well. Were not tracking any hot spots currently. Heres a look at some drive time for you, 27 minutes, on the east shore nearly 50 minutes for the pass drive, thats a slow 1 but not unusually slow. A 21 minute trip from 101 northbound, highway 85 to the expressway. Lets get more on that ramp reconfiguration. It is going to be around for about 6 months, we want to go into depth about exactly where it will reroute you, how it is going this morning, kron is taking a look. Traffic is flow nicely through there we thought we would see more of a traffic issue this morning here at the exit, but so far, that hasnt materialized bastille have some been what happened . Bart of that, the bottom of this ramp is going to be closed for the next 6 months. Now when you get off at the exit, the first exit as you get off the bay bridge, you take a right turn at the bottom of the ramp, you used to be able to take a right hand turn to get to fulsome street and a left hand turn to get to harrison and freemont. They closed down that right hand lane, that means no more right turn onto fulsome, that means all the traffic is going to have to be filter on that left hand turn down to harrison and freemont. Now they are doing construction there for the next 6 months, that means this ramp will basically be in this configuration until march. Which, we expected to see some traffic delays early this morning, havent really seen them yet, as i said there is still time. We had a chance to talk to the Transportation Authority about the project, the spokesperson describes what they are doing. And for the developments, this will allow, essentially moving an off ramp cutting a plot of land and reconfiguring that off ramp so you have an undisturbed larger part of land that well be housing. This ramp will be shut down, it appears everybody is getting it. We havent seen the backup we anticipate, we still have 2 and a half hours or so to go in this morning commute and well be out here all morning monitoring this situation. 2 and a half hours in 6 months, exactly. Just about an hour and a half ago, we are solid through the maze, youre already looking about a 24plus minute drive time coming from highway 24 westbound. A clean up continuing after the weekend mud slide we first told you about yesterday, it came down saturday afternoon from a melt from a glacier. It picked up logs and boulders along the way. Witnesses say it sounded like a freight train. Crews will work in the area, no structures were damaged and no 1 was hurt in the slide. A private boat is going to be pulled out of the water today after it went up in flames. Take a look at the fire, it started at 4 00 yesterday afternoon near the aquatic center. It took crews 4 hours to put the flames out thats because they had to battle this fire from the doc and from the shore. The boat was destroyed but nobody was hurt. Well be right back. So we have this live look at mount tam, we have some clearing and clouds out there. So youre seeing one or the other. We have Clear Conditions over San Francisco. Oakland looks fantastic. Were seeing some clouds around sfo. Temperatures that are in the upper 50s and low 60s, were starting on par with how we started every morning here for the past few months, oakland 54. Concord and livermore, were seeing some upper 40s there, there will be a few hours before we see the temperatures warm up. Eventually well see upper 70s to low 80s. Were going to look at 79 in san jose, upper 70s for the silicon valley. So you get an idea of the south bay, were going to see sunny skies with the temperature in the upper 70s and low 80s. We have anywhere from 78 in vallejo. 83 in the east bay shoreline. The peninsula shoreline in the 70s. San francisco, and downtown well look at 71. This is today. This is the weather were going to expect to arrive our way wednesday night into thursday and friday. The system is impacting the Pacific Northwest. The timing looks about 10 00 or so wednesday night. Well see showers west of santa rosa. That will move into the area on 2 00 p. M. On thursday. By 6 00 in the morning were going to expect showers in the north bay and until 9 00 for the morning commute, im going to look for light rain. Tomorrow morning, and then noontime, it cools out, that cold front passes us buy, and then theyre going to give us a chance of a popup sprinkle. For the weekend were looking pretty good. Saturday and sunday, the sunshine is back, and the temperatures warming back up to the low 80s. Lets gauge the commute and see how that is going. We havent seen any big accidents or hot spots. Drive time here 29 minutes, thats not a horrible commute for westbound interstate 80. Highway 4 is pretty slow this morning, remember we got off that start with an accident in antiok. Typically slow about 45 minutes. Normal. South bay freeway are starting to heat up. From the guadeloupe parkway at 85 northbound up to 280, north bay the drive time now up to 33 minutes to the Golden Gate Bridge. The bay bridge, one of the worst this morning, were backed into the macarthur, 24 minutes from the beginning of the back up. I meant to know you this as well, weve been monitoring conditions at the fremont street off ramp. I think that may be due in part to the fact they kept the metering light so slow here, that not much traffic is getting across the bridge. 92 is backed up and had been since a till 7 00 this morning, looking at 18 minute drive times here. The Golden Gate Bridge report in the northbound direction a stall, but it doesnt have any impact on the riding right now but its sluggish here on the right side. Thank you, cars stolen at the dealership and the thief had the keys. Reporter im in san jose, they have surveillance cameras on the outside and on the inside, but that was no deter rant. These thieves came in, went straight to a lock box, thats where they hold all the keys, they came out to the parking lot, hit the keys and what car went off, they hopped into the car. 8 cars were stolen. Theres another location about a mile from here thats a mercedes dealership, 5 cars were stolen from that location. They show you the third location. The one in belmont is called audubon motors. Now the Police Department in both cities are working with each other to see if this is one organized ring or it happens to be multiple suspects doing the same thing at the same time. It appears to be a ring because they go after lock boxes. This place in san jose, they hired a Security Guard to walk through. At that time, there was not a Security Guard working. They were walking with friends through union square two weeks ago. This comes after a misdemeanor charge in a previous incident. I want to start off with this live look of the bay. Some clouds out there but for the most part were seeing relatively Clear Conditions. This is another shot for you, a lot of sunshine coming down in sfo, but there are 45 minute delays for flights coming in. This is your Daily Planner. We have temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s. It should stay mild out there by noontime. This afternoon, well warm it up a little bit more, inland highs in the low 80s to mid80s here and there, 76 by the bay, mostly sunny, enjoy it because we have this system headed our way, impacting washington and other oregon. This has come to a stop here at the toll plaza. Look at this westbound ride here. This is backed up in 92 westbound. So youre going to find this kind of condition all the way out to the base of the highrise, the bay bridge is also a slow trick for you this morning. Your westbound commute solidly backed up to the macarthur maze, and your trip to the Richmond Bridge, backed up around all the lanes at the toll plaza and as a consequence, they were slow from before the richmond parkway on 580 westbound. A quick check from the south bay, were not tracking hot spots here. Its a slow ride from 85 to saratoga, and up to 280. And coming down 280 northbound, the heaviest traffic is on the 7880 interchange. Now were going to get some updates on the wildfire thats burned thousands of homes. Containment is at 35 . 32 buildings are destroyed so far. Scott has more on the fire. Reporter firefighters had a better handle on this fire. You can see behind me, theres still a lot of smoke and smoldering going on. This is part of the king fire here. Lets go to some video overnight. Nearly 90 thousand acres have been burned because of the king fire. 35 contained, it was 18 contained yesterday so they made a lot of progress of course. 21 thousand structures remain threatened from this structure thats been burning for 10 days now. They did get help from the weather yesterday, the humidity levels rose, so hopefully were going to see those conditions again. I smoke to a woman who is one of the 2,800 people that was evacuated out of her house. Shes been staying with friends and she was happy that these meetings are taking place. After you know you got your things out, you assess what you grabbed, was it important or what it not . You can take a lot. And the Fire Department does the best they can. Theres a lot of people upset. Reporter and speaking of the Fire Department, i can tell you that over 8 thousand firefighters from florida to alaska are on the ground out here battling this fire using bulldozers, and theyre attacking it from the air. Now you have to see it to believe it. No one likes a parking ticket but one San Francisco driver may have took it too far. He took off with the enforcement officer on her car. The whole thing unfolding as the man gave her a ticket. She argued and got in the car and started taking off. He held on and wouldnt let go. Witnesses said it was like this for a mile. I saw a car pass us on the left, and i said i think theres a guy on the roof of that car. This guy was holding on for his dear life. She said she didnt intend to run the officer over. He got on the car and he wouldnt get off. The driver was arrested and charged with assault with a Deadly Weapon and misdemeanor hitandrun. 23yearold saffon lee charged with killing judy solomon. She was shot and killed while driving her car, after she took a video of them committing a crime. They shot and killed her when they saw her. Theyre supposed to head to court on september 27th for a pretrial hearing. The white hat hackers found a critical flaw in the system. When they tried to mimic what a hacker would do, they were blocked by the systems defenses. You may want to do a better job of saving money. We have futurecast set for noon, we have wide spread 70s, and then by 3 00 in the afternoon, were going to welcome 80s in the east bay. Maybe the delta will be the hottest area. 82 in livermore. Downtown San Francisco should come in around 71 with 76 across the bay. As for tomorrow, things will change. A cold front should be sent our way by Late Wednesday night. Well see some showers begin in the north bay and then it will spread as we head through the morning thursday and through the day. The Golden Gate Bridge has been doing good this morning. Right now its light traffic in both directions, but the richmond san ra fell bridge is slow on 580 before it hits the toll plaza westbound. This east shore freeway now 34 minutes, conditions are changing there. The San Ramon Valley ride is not horrible today. The south 680 is typical. We dont have big surprises in in the southbound, but a 24 drive time from downtown san jose to cupertino. I love that woman calling me in the morning. You like to be woken up. Its a nice les find out for sure. This is the live view out of sfo. Were looking at relatively clear skies and were looking for a mostly Sunny Afternoon with nice mild temperatures. Its the next three days after today that will be the main talking points for the weather story this week. Were expecting some showers to come on through. Lets talk about today since thats the day were in. This morning, some clouds out there. Upper 50s to low 60s. This afternoon look for 76 by the bay, ill be back by 8 15 to talk about the next few days, were looking for showers to come by in the bay area, well have futurecast 4 for you, and well look at the weekend beyond the rain and ill have that in complete detail in just a minute. I know george is following the latest with the bay bridge. What if they gave a traffic jam and no one came. Because of changes at the bottom of the ramp about what youre going to hear in detail in just a moment, we expected this to be backing things up. But look how light the traffic is here, that may have something to do with the fact that the metering lights have been kept very slow this morning and from within minutes of their activation, the back up was already breeching the macarthur maze, so 24, westbound slow from childrens hospital, drive times are running 28 minutes, and this 880 is backed up. This may have been a preemptive move from caltrans, no help for the san mateo bridge, still jammed up since before 7 00, this new pattern is things to back up earlier and earlier. The Richmond Bridge were looking at slow enough traffic that its backing up the 580 ride westbound. We continue to see slow traffic here in the south bay, and the drive time is now up over 30 minutes from highway 85 to the montague expressway. It had been only been backed up to the 880 interchange, now its all the way out. This is a 28 minute drive time from san jose to cupertino. Were watching to see if traffic does have trouble navigating that off ramp from the bay bridge. Part of it is closed. Jackie has been finding things been moving slowly. Reporter yeah, things have been really good. You see traffic heading down the fremont ramp. There are changes and that took place last night as they closed off the ramp, heres some video from yesterday. As you get off the folsom exit, the bay bridge headed westbound, you use to be able to make a right hand turn, but they closed that down, and now the traffic has to flow to the left hand side down to fremont street. They anticipated that people should get use to the new configuration, it hasnt materialized this morning. We did have a chance to talk to Transportation Authority spokesperson, he talked about what the project includes. You can see this nasty fire burning. Close to 90,000 acres have been charred. More than 21,000 structures still remain threatened. Cal fire did tell me they had some help from the weather, it was more moist out here. The wind died down, that helped them get some containment on this thing. I did talk to a lady that was evacuated. Shes been out of her house since tuesday. She was at one of the meetings held by cal fire and she appreciates what the firefighters are doing. Im worried about my home, but we got out our animals and well out. I guess insurance should pick up the rest. I hope its all there. Its devastating to these people, i hope we dont have to go through that. Reporter so in all, 10 homes have been lost so far because of the king fire. I cant tell you, there have been 4 injuries, minor injuries for people treated for smoke inhalation. Now the focus goes to stopping this thing before it spreads to the lake tahoe area. You can see low 80s for campbell, and were going to stay in the low 80s for the east bay forecast. Not just for the delta, the Livermore Valley, San Ramon Valley, mild weather, even out at the shoreline. We have 73 in hayward, as we look across the bay at the peninsula, 78 in san mateo, so it will warm as you head south. 76 for oakland and in the north bay a lot of upper 70s to low 80s. Mostly sunny skies. That changes tomorrow. Well get cloudy and overcast conditions. Bringing rain to the two states to our north and a cold front to the bay area. That timing should be about 10 00 or so wednesday night. Thats what were seeing as we see showers light in nature. Clouds everywhere else pushing the clock forward to 2 00 a. M. , some light sprinkles along the coastline. As youre beginning to wake up for work on thursday, well see rain potentially through the north bay and San Francisco with showers moving across the bay at 9 00 a. M. So that morning commute may be a wet one for you. All of this green meaning light rain, by noontime on thursday, the cold front will pass us by leaving just Disturbed Air on the backside. So were going to keep the showers in the forecast until maybe friday morning, just for that stray shower or two. Then after that, things clear out nicely. Saturday and sunday looking nice with inland highs getting in the low 80s. So thats what we look forward to in the next 7 days. Now on to traffic. Despite the fact we havent had major accidents, we still have hot spots thats because the traffic is slower than it should be. Lets start with the ride on highway 4. This is out of antioch and concord and eastbound, i mentioned a noncommute accident at hill crest, thats backing up the eastbound ride. Theres a vehicle fire up here in the vicinity of apion so thats adding to the traffic, which is jammed up trying to get to the east shore freeway. We talked about the slowing at the san rafael bridge. This is northbound so the traffic is backing up from hayward. In the 92 interchange and south bay freeway is very slow now. Look at this northbound ride. The drive time is 36 minutes from 86 as you head north up towards the montague expressway. That was a 24 minute commute in the old days. Now look at 280, solidly backed up. 32 minutes from san jose to cupertino on 280 northbound, and 85 is backed up from sara toga. The north bay ride near marin county, theres a incident here, this is adding to the slowing as you can see. This drive time over 45 minutes. The bay bridge, well we have been tracking the fremont street off ramp and that hasnt backed up. I think because they have the metering lights so slow here. San mateo bridge, solid traffic from one end of the bridge to the other with a back up before the toll plaza, your trip to the Golden Gate Bridge is problem free now. They havent released much information at all but to say there is more than one victim. This happening at a ups facility. And there will be 1. 4 million cases of ebola by january. Thats what the cdc is saying in a new report they issued this morning. Nearly 3,000 people have died from the deadly virus in west africa. In the last 6 months, 330 Health Care Workers have been affected. They have a 70 fatality rate and they dont have enough hospital beds, health workers, and soap and water. With the two recent fence jumpers at the white house, this study was done in 1990, they found that the white house is vulnerable to fence jumpers. They played out a mock attack that found it easy to get in the zone. You just have to overwhelm the workers with 6 to 8 workers jumping the fence. There was one guy that managed to jump the fence and get into the white house. All of the traffic now is being diverted north on to fremont street as we expected it might, its backed up from city streets all the way up. This is the bay bridge right here, its taken several hours for it to occur, but this was the reason we have been camped out here all morning long. This could start to affect the westbound bay bridge ride which was already backed up into the macarthur maze, and they could slow it down even more now. Daria . Right now were looking fantastic outside, our bay bridge approach camera is showing us some nice blue skies, puffy clouds out there. This will turn overcast. Lets take a look at temperatures, were seeing things warm up in the north bay where we had seen temperatures in the upper 40s, santa rosa at, antioch is 64. By noontime, widespread 70s, all that yellow. Were going to see 70s to low 80s for san jose, and points to the south, in the east bay were looking at 83 degrees, warmer in brentwood, and mild temperatures there, upper 70s in the north bay, were looking at 77 in santa rosa, 82 in san rafael. So widespread 70s and as you head inland it warms up to the low 80s, that will be the theme for today. Going forward, this guy is making our headlines in the weather department. A cold front is approaching the bay area about wednesday night. Were going to switch to futurecast 4. 10 00 p. M. , light showers are predicted for north of santa rosa. Then were going to see those showers popup with more still looming for the north bay, watch by 6 00 a. M. In the morning, were looking at light shower in the north bay, light showers along the peninsula, and this cold front is going to push through the center part of the bay at 9 00 in the morning, so you ride to school on thursday, it could be a wet one, this is a couple of days out so were going to keep track of this and update the forecast and timing. At least at this point, by noontime, the cold front will pass us by and on the backside, well have some disturbances in the air. Were going to keep the shower in the forecast through friday morning. Saturday and sunday looking great, temperatures bouncing back nicely. Its 8 51, lets find out how the traffic is going along. Major problems brewing here in the San Ramon Valley near a costa, we have debris in the lanes. The debris was spilled when a big rig started to lose part of its load, lane closures are in affect now and theres likely to be a full closure of the freeway in at least one direction and likely northbound. Look at what this has done to the ride in and out of san ramon and leading down towards dublin. So major problems are brewing here that are likely to be with us for a while. This is an unusual location for such an incident, but its turning into a huge problem and hot spot, well be getting more details on it shortly. We continue to track another hot spot which is the accident on 880 northbound at 98th avenue, and generally slow traffic, especially through the south bay and on interstate 80 and the westbound direction and the north bay ride still slow coming down to ignacio out of novato. At the bay bridge, we did see a back up here to the top of the ramp that lasted about 5 minutes. This is the fremont street off ramp, it was shut down overnight while they eliminated the access to folsom street. Weve been backed up into the maze all morning long at the san mateo bridge, 92, continuing slow going over 2 hours now that we had these conditions at the san mateo bridge. This bridge use to be trouble free. This is when we would see the peak traffic flow bewe dont. Were still backed up at san mateo leading to the toll plaza. Now a story youll only see on kron 4. You have to see it to believe it. We have the pictures. There is a woman driving with a parking ticket officer on her hood. Right there, she looks amazed and shocked and she keeps driving with him right there holding on for dear life. People saw it happened and people were amazed. It went on for nearly a mile. I saw a car pass us on the left and i said i think theres a guy on the roof of that car. This guy was holding on for dear life, she was swerving going down oak. The one story was that she was trying to take off because she was going to get a ticket. Her side of the story is that the officer claimed that he would waive the ticket for he had sexual advances at him. She jumped in the car. Late in the commute and at a very unusual location, mark here between bolinger canyon road and al costa, both directions of interstate 680 are affected by this big rig accident that slammed into the Center Divider. Does this sound familiar . It hit the Center Divider southbound, lost its load spilling debris into the northbound lanes causing multiple accidents. Also, shutting down the freeway in the northbound direction, southbound there may be only one or two lanes available past the scene so the southbound ride backed up to crow canyon road, bolinger canyon road is where they reopened the freeway in the northbound side but its closed between al costa so these are big delays putting a lot of pressure on foot hill, san ramon road and dougherty road would be the way to get around it those are the detours here and here but expect major delays and this looks like it will take a long time to clean up. Also it took a long time but we finally started to see delays at the freemont street off ramp. This is traffic backing up on to the ramp from city streets because the right lane of the end of this ramp has been shutdown. You can no longer turn right getting toward fullsome street. In fact the whole off ramp was shutdown for most of the night reopened about 4 45 but with changes to the off ramp we expected to see traffic delays never really materialize but you can see as i said earlier traffic is starting to back up. Now what do they change . Well as you got to the bottom of the ramp at the bottom of freemont and fullsome, used to be able to take a right turn, so they closed that down for construction purposes for six months, that means until march they have that completely shutdown so you can only make a left turn on to freemont. Now commuters obviously got the message early enough that it wasnt a problem this morning but we did have a chance to talk to the San Francisco Transportation Authority yesterday and they talked about the project and what it entails. And for the in Field Development this will allow us essentially moving an off ramp cutting a plot of land and reconfiguring that off ramp so that you have an undisturbed larger plot of land that will eventually be housing. And now you can look at this off ramp from another direction now, you can see as you make that sweeping right turnabout 100yards after that, thats where that reconfiguration is occurring. Here is the Evacuation Order over 28,000 people still remain evacuated in the pollach pines area and 21,000 structures still remain threatening. Cal fire has gotten a little bit of help from the weather and the conditions moistened up a little bit. More humidity out here and less wind so that has helped. We do know 10 homes have burned as a result of this fire. I spoke to a lady one lady whose been evacuated out of her house since tuesday. She was at one of the Community Meetings held by cal fire. Those meetings have been helpful and shes hoping she can return to her home soon. Im worried about the home. Im worried about everything up there but we got our animals and were out and i guess the insurance should pick up the rest i hope. I actually hope its all there and it was devastating for these people, actually devastating. I hope we dont have to go through that. So cal fire starting to get a better handle on this fire but theres still a long way to go and now the concern turns towards the tahoe area because continue to spread and they dont want to get into the tahoe area for obvious reasons. Theres the National Forest area and ski resorts so that would be terrible if it gets into there so all efforts trying to stop it from getting into that area mark. Both north and southbound lanes between bolinger canyon and al costa road affected by accidents that started with a truck hitting the Center Divider and spilling its load of debris across the divider on to the northbound lanes of interstate 680 as well as some of it spilling on to the southbound lanes. At onetime the entire freeway northbound was shutdown and several lanes southbound were also closed. Now theyve opened up all of the southbound lanes and theyve managed to get one of the northbound lanes open but three lanes are shutdown and right now the sensors are updating so its showing green but its not. Its really red and solidly backed up all the way to the dublin interchange on the northbound side of interstate 680. We may have some video available from over the scene. Do we have that live video . Again a big surprise for the trip through the San Ramon Valley because normally this is trouble free so the top of your screen there is the northbound side of the freeway where only one lane is open and the bottom of your screen is the southbound side where all lanes are open on the southbound side but again, back ups in both directions for a couple of miles. Okay a look at the bridges for you next and still solidly backed up through the mcarthur maze, at the west end of the bridge the freemont street off ramp is slow now backed up at least half way up the ramp from city streets. Mark . Thank you. A massive dock fire that threatened warehouses in the port of los angeles last night now out. It was sparked from a welders torch is what were learning and more than 800 people had to be evacuated and several ships quickly moved from the area. Los angeles city fire marine units battling the blaze, drivers were sent to assess the dock underneath. Firefighters say the flames were difficult to reach underneath this dock. The fire burned under a warehouse and no injuries reported. Nobody likes getting a parking ticket but one San Francisco driver appears to have taken that to a whole new level. Reporter a woman in a car and a Parking Enforcement officer on the hood of that car, officers say this is not a fake or photoshopped picture, and in fact they say the woman drove with the man on her hood for around a mile. They tell us an enforce. Officer was writing her a ticket and she attempted to run him down. Officers say to avoid the collision he jumped on her hood. In the process she slammed into a motorcycle and drove off with him on the car. I just couldnt believe this woman continued to go down oak street with this guy on the hood of her car and didnt stop right then and there. I saw a car pass us on the left and i said i think theres a guy on the roof of the car. With this dude on her hood holding on for dear life she was swerving in between lanes going down oak. While you may think of hip as the bad guy she tells kron4 she was sexually harassed before the man jumped on her car. She claims she stopped several types and he wouldnt get off. Something that at least one witness who took this picture verified. The woman was screaming, all i heard he say was hes scaring me. At one point the cars were stopped at a light and she actually hopped out of the car and was yelling and there was a guy on the car and he was yelling and the motorcyclist was stopped and he was yelling and then the light turned green and they all got back on and kept moving so im thinking we better call 911 because she will get on the freeway on ramp with this guy on her car and thats when the police man drove up on his motorcycle. I had been talking with the driver of that car. She tells me she was sexually harassed and she goes on to say he asked me to do things instead of getting a parking citation which lead me to believe he was posing as a meter maid, do things sexually, i panicked. As we continue to monitor big delays for the ride on interstate 680, jammed up in both directions through san ramon, and even now coming south out of danville, an accident occurred here in the southbound direction where a vehicle slammed into the Center Divider, spilled its debris on both sides of the freeway, mostly in the northbound direction and thats why there are still three lanes shutdown on the northbound side and thats why traffic is backed up into pleasanton now. Southbound traffic backed up into danville and although no lanes are closed on the southbound side, they may from time to time shutdown some of those lanes while they work to clear both the debris and the truck. And looking at a new problem here in the south bay on guatalupe parkway highway 87 northbound at interstate 280 a motorcycle accident blocking two lanes means late delays coming up from the valley and were still backed up here at the bay bridge toll plaza solidly through the mcarthur maze, no brakes there yet. San mateo bridge was starting to catch a break the last time it looked and it appears as though its holding now and if youre heading to the richmond san rafel bridge, heavy enough traffic still at the toll plaza its backed upcoming out of richmond on 580 westbound. New this morning our developing story as Police Search for multiple car thieves who stole 22 cars from three different bay area dealerships and they actually had the keys to all those cars. Kron4 will tran is live at one of the dealerships to explain. Will . Reporter well this dealership in san jose, they were robbed on friday overnight, nine cars at this location. They went straight to the lockbox friday night overnight hours. When they went into the lockbox they were able to get the keys and then the hear went out to the parking lot, then they just hit the keys whichever cars went off they drove off with the cars with the keys in hand. Then about a mile from this location, right around the same time at a mercedes dealership, they did the same thing. Five cars stolen from that location and certain locations miles away in bolmont, same thing that happened sunday overnight. This place since hired a Security Guard to patrol the area. There is Surveillance Video where you can clearly make out the thieves faces they dont even bother covering their faces. The belmont Police Department as well as the san jose Police Department are coordinating with each other to see if there is in fact a ring behind this or it just happens to be a coincidence that the suspects attacked at the same time more than likely its a ring but they are still working on it. Its the northbound lanes that are mostly jammed up, now even though its the noncommute direction, but its backed up into pleasanton on 680 northbound and backing up toward dublin on 580 westbound, all the traffic that would otherwise be turning north on 680, the southbound traffic backing up beyond bolinger canyon closer to Sycamore Valley road for the south 680 ride and the late accident still tying up traffic on the guadalupe parkway northbound getting into downtown san jose, a motorcycle crash at the interstate 280 intersection. Looking at bridge delays for you, we are still backed up into the mcarthur maze, despite these big openings in the toll plaza this morning. The metering lights were kept very very slow and that might be one of the reasons why we only saw a minor delay at the freemont street off ramp. Occasionally, it backed up from city streets up toward the top of the ramp but never on to the bridge. The Golden Gate Bridge has been problem free all morning long and when last we checked there was still delays at the richmond san rafel bridge and indeed they even continue such that 580 westbound is still backed upcoming out of richmond.
