But the largest wildfire in california right now is about 60 miles to the north of us in napa counties. The bus fire has burned about a variety of local agencies as well as 10 aircrafts have been working on this wild fire. Hundreds of people are being allowed to return home. There are still evacuation advisories for people who live north of the burn zone. Cal fire doesnt expect it to burn much more. 6 fires set in the canyon area, the oakland last month is called arson. Thats what the oakland Fire Department said. This is the fire chief holding a town hall meeting. Theyre talking about how people can help to catch these arsonist if department is relying on citizens to put an end to it. We have to ask people to be vigilant. Hundreds of people are allowed back into their homes. No water . Were out of water. And to the south, this is the fire in san diego, its continuing to grow. They have 15 containment on their fire. Evacuation orders lifted for folks there. Julians celebration had to be called off because of that fire. We have a lot going around in the bay area. We have parades, picnics, barbecues, and fireworks. L now you can have the organized kind but legal fireworks, theres only a few hours. I think theres 12 cities that allow fireworks. The jpa went into closed session and ultimately voted to approve the lease. It was a 62 vote. Now yesterday, after the vote came through, we had a chance to talk to some of the fans. Most of them are excited to see that the as are going to be staying in oakland for the longterm. Everybody wants the as to stay in oakland. Theyre part of the fabric of the community.
