A developing story this morning napa police are revealing new disturbing details in the investigation of what led up to a three yearolds murder. Friends and family have identified the child as kaylee. The little girl was found dead in her bed at the royal Garden Apartments after officers carried out a welfare check. That check was requested by an anonymous caller saturday afternoon. Police say its unclear how long kaylee was dead before he body was discovered. Neighbors told police that kaylees mother sara krueger and kruegers boyfriend, ryan scottwarner were seen leaving the apartment with luggage on foot about three hours before kaylee was found dead. A day later, the couple was spotted in el cerrito. During the initial stages we notice that she had a blunt trauma. She also appeared to have been sexually assaulted. Police say both krueger and scottwarner have arrest records and a history of drug abuse. Officers have also been called to their apartment before for possible domestic violence. The last time being as recent as last week. But krueger never pressed charges against scott warner who is not on the lease. Both krueger and scott warner are charged with homicide, special circumstances murder, and assault resulting an autopsy is tentatively scheduled for today. As for kaylees biological father, he is currently in san quentin. Were told he has been made aware that his daughter has been murdered. Back at the home where the homicide took place, the Community Came together and held a vigil for the 3 Year Old Girl. Kron 4s alecia reid was at the vigil with the latest. The gruesome discovery has left her family in mourning. A sea of people poured into this complex held in the honor of the three road. Her grandfather as well as others were distraught. There were candles and a teddy bears left for she was found dead. Neighbors tell us that they have no hurt and the mother says she was born. Her boy friend, moved in about a year ago. The Golden Gate Bridge ride is also looking good. New this morning firefighters have put out a 2 alarm fire in west oakland. It happened at a home on 34th street around 2 00 a. M. This morning. The fire was under control less than an hour. No one was hurt. We are learning more details about how the investigation into the death of Lynne Spalding was handled. Kron 4s scott rates show us some alarming findings of a newly released report. Line for the first time we are looking into this investigation. And report out sunday showed that eight investigators, revealed that a doctor was instructed as San Francisco general not to leave her side. So she was admitted september for a bladder infection and she was found dead in a stairwell. This was 17 days after she left her room. The report goes on to say that nurses were also instructed to check on her every 50 minutes. It talked about the sheriffs involvement and that four deputies were searching the hospital stairwell and one of the deputies actually searched the grounds but not the stairwell. And the other deputies checked only a stairwell leading some unchecked. The family spokesperson had this to say this report confirms what we have been saying since september 2013 when she disappeared that at s. F. General and the Sheriffs Department never took seriously the safety and welfare of her. Neither did they take into consideration nor did they look for her during the 17 days that she laid dined, abandoned on the stairwell and ignored her calls. We did check with s. F. General and so far they did not release a response. Scott rates, kron 4 news. A routine traffic stop ended in arrest for a menlo park man. Police stopped Pedro Mendoza in belmont thursday night. Mendoza was found with jewelry and other stolen property in the car. Police arrested him for possession of stolen property, marijuana and driving without a license. A woman suspected of robbing two banks in menlo park has been arrested. Police say jasmine sahib from hayward is thought to be responsible in robbing the banks in 2013. Two branches were robbed. A bank of the west and a us bank. In both cases, the suspect handed a note to the teller saying she had a gun and to hand over cash. The fbi assisted police in identifying the suspect. Police say the teen. Not affiliated with the uc berkeley. Was walking on jackson street by the university village. A man in an suv approached the teen and grabbed him. He then tried to force him into the vehicle. The victim was able to get away without injuries. The suspect hasnt been located and police are still investigating the incident. Petaluma police are investigating a case of suspected arson that happened over the weekend. Residents at a home on aspen way were awoken to the smell of smoke saturday morning. Now on to our top story this morning napa police are revealing new disturbing details in the investigation of what led up to a three yearolds murder. Friends and family have identified the child as the little girl was found dead in her bed at the royal Garden Apartments after officers carried out a welfare check. That check was requested by an anonymous caller saturday afternoon. Police say its unclear how long kaylee was dead before he body was discovered. Neighbors told police that kaylees mother sara krueger and kruegers boyfriend, ryan scottwarner were seen leaving the apartment with luggage on foot about three hours before kaylee was found dead. A day later, the couple was spotted in el cerrito. The followup shows that she was also sexually assaulted. Police say both krueger and scottwarner have arrest records and a history of drug abuse. Officers have also been called to their apartment before for possible domestic violence. The last time being as recent as last week. But krueger never pressed charges against scott warner who is not on the lease. Both krueger and scott warner are charged with homicide, special circumstances murder, and assault resulting an autopsy is tentatively scheduled for today. As for kaylees biological father, he is currently in san quentin. Were told he has been made aware that his daughter has been murdered. Line back at the home where the Community Came together and held a vigil for the 3 Year Old Girl. They tell us little kayleigh, who loved dressing up as barbie and minnie mouse, was always on herthe last few times the child was seen in public, they tell us she looked unhappy. Theres new information from investigators who have been looking into the death of Lynne Spalding a new report shows that an investigation by the center for Medicare Services says a doctor gave instructions to staff at sf General Hospital to never leave her unattended spalding was admitted back she was found dead in a stairwell at the hospital 17 days after she left her room. The report says nurses were also instructed to check on spalding ever 15 minutes the report also talks about the how sheriffs involvement in the search and that they were tasked with searching the hospitals stairwells. Six were left unchecked. Line police are looking for a man who tried to kidnap a 15yearold on crutches. Police say this happened friday night in albany. The teenager was walking on jackson street when a man in verbally coerce the boy into the car. Police say the victim refused and the suspect approached the teen before the teen hit the suspect. The teen yelled for help and the suspect tried to force him into the car. The victim was able to escape without injuries. The suspect is described as a white or hispanic man.
