>> will: they are investigating this as a homicide. investigators are on the top floor going around talking with residents. they believe the murder might have happened right here because it seems like the investigators have been focused only in that area with the crime scene technicians and collecting evidence. at this point we do not know how the assault happened. if you believe the commander, i am on my way out, and then he heard this was a murder i am still waiting for them to come down in an interview. but, at this point we do not know she was stabbed or shot. we will just have to wait and see. now according to police officers they say this is more like a residential area. >> justine: one question, the doors that you are looking at is that one hotel room or many? >> will: those are all individual hotel rooms. they're going around asking people didn't hear anything or see anything. if you happen to be asleep, guess what you will hear them knocking. the police officers may ask you what did you hear or see and what did you know? we will have to wait and see. >> justine: we will check again for a live report a little bit later. now we want to check in with james with this super hot forecast. >> james: that is some good news is this likely cooling down. that is not good for some in the inland areas because it will be hot. it is still hot no matter how you cut it. it is mostly clear this afternoon. temperatures ranging from the '60s all the way up to 100. tomorrow we have plenty of sunshine. friday will be noticeably cooler than today. that will be the day probably that the inland valley start to feel the cool weather. we are looking for continue cooling into the weekend and it looks like to keep it nice and smiled at least into the middle of next week. that is the way the weather is looking. and outside right now, you can see our mount tancam racial and pretty clear conditions for most of the bay area. temperatures right now look pretty good, we have 60 in san jose, and he conceded warmer out there in the livermore valley. here is exactly where we see the temperatures and it is out to the east. san francisco is in the low 50s, with low to mid '50's across the bay. this afternoon we are expecting conditions to get downright hot. we have nine degree weather in these areas. we will see cooler conditions more than what we saw yesterday. >> james: we have 73 for oakland, about 101 for antioch, and 100 for livermore. we have 80s across the north bay and as you can see we have cooler conditions along the peninsula. it shall warm up slightly as you head south along 101. today your whether it looks to be warm, tomorrow will be a little bit cooler. it is the mild saturday and sunday for everybody and will keep those mild temperatures right into next week. ok, that issue forecast that a see what is going on with traffic. we have an easy ride on west bound 80. the san mateo bridge is moving well. in the north bay it is the fall of the camera--the foggy camera over the golden gate bridge. we will be back with more weather and traffic updates shortly. >> justine: teresa estacio reports that many people in the city of dublin decided yesterday was a good day to stay indoors. >> reporter: it was so uncomfortably hot wednesday that no one seemed to want to be outside. normally during a lunch hour this plaza with outdoor seating is usually packed with people instead, there to lift the inside with cooler air conditioning. >> it is so much better inside, we can beat the heat. >> reporter: i notice that there are not a lot of people outside where did you think they are? on the scene in oakland with more. >> will: investigators are he and giving new information we have learned the victim is a 19 year-old woman that was shot in the face. she died at the motel. that is why you see the police officers at the corner unit. they want to make sure that the scene is preserved so that the investigators can continue their investigation. it seems like an know who this person is the they're not releasing her name at this time. they did tell me that she had not stayed here for very long. this is not your typical motel where tourist come and go this is more like a residential motel. they caught the cool about 3:00 a.m. and initially they thought it was a stabbing but then once they got here they saw the victim in her unit. they do not know she was in there by herself or if someone showed up and knocked on the door and then fired one shot. at this point there is no motive but they have blocked this place off they did not have anyone coming or going and that with a talk with all the potential witnesses while they're still here. i will try to get more information as it becomes available. >> mark: we have the latest in a string of recent violence in statement blasting allegations that you lied while testifying at peashooters ethics hearing. the lawyer says he believes the mayor did lie and calling his credibility into question. >> i think that the mayor was not truthful in his testimony and ultimately this entire case is built on the if there is some reasonable doubt about the mayor's credibility then the ethics committee must look into
