>>george: the westbound commute is not delayed. a 13 minute drive time over to foster city. the golden gate bridge, 101 southbound is still delay free. still an easy ride through marin. first, let's get a look at the east bay commute. things looked great and the 24-680 interchange and for interstate 80 westbound. we're still problem free. a quick look at 101 in marin county, a slew of commute. the green beans that speeds are at the limit out of novato through central san rafael. if we will take a quick break and be right back with more. justine >> there are troubles for the toyota. the automaker is reporting a double-digit drop in profits from july- september. the company posted a profit of just over 1 billion for the fiscal second quarter but that is down 19% from the year before. toyota is blaming the rapid appreciation against the dollar and lower sales due to part shortages. toyota is still working to recover from the japanese devastating earthquake and tsunami. victoria does hope that selling more cars in japan and exports will help them. >>mark: u.s. futures are acquitted higher ahead of the key confidence vote in italy. italian bond yields are spiking this week. greece, portugal and ireland have received financial lifelines but italy has too much debt to be rescued. the italian prime minister is urging him to step aside today. investors believe a new government might enact new austerity measures. right now, dow futures are up another 70 points. >>darya: we are back with more in just a couple of minutes. let's get a live look at the san jose camera. people are waking up and hitting 101 southbound on the right hand side, the commute direction. all is clear and all is cold this morning. we will be right back. >>james: instability is headed our way. things will remain mild today, tomorrow and most of thursday. by thursday afternoon we will see clouds streaming in and things will dark and out. as he headed to the overnight hours, that is when the rain is scheduled to start. we will hold onto a chance of scattered showers through the weekend with temperatures cooling down. temperatures in the upper 50s. and that is our weather. let's get caught up on the commute. >>george: it is starting to slow down on the bay bridge toll plaza. the metering lights have been activated. there was a record of a stall and the westbound direction near the islands, but i believe it has already been cleared from the traffic lanes. the metering lights were not really activated any earlier than usual, but there is a backup starting to form for the westbound bay bridge ride. the commute is still doing well. there are no delays across stand and no problems on the toll plaza or along the will drive. we will take a look at the marin ride. let's check the rights for the east bay. looking at the ride on 24, it is delay free, so is interstate 80. and 18 minute drive time from hercules to berkeley. 580 westbound is lighter than usual to the livermore valley because of an earlier occurring problem in tracy. the commute through the south bay is starting to pick up a little slow in on 101 northbound. it usually starts between the two freeways. between the 280- 680 and 01 01-880 interchanges. that is usually the beginning of the backup. we mentioned the north bay right, here's a look at it. >>darya: the california faculty association has called for picketing at all california state university campuses today and tomorrow. that is ahead of a strike that is planned for next week. union members say they are upset that the administration has drastically raised student tuition and increase faculty workloads file--while raising the salaries of executives. here are the schools' planning nonparticipating. >>mark: herman cain is supposed to be addressing sexual harassment allegations by four different women today. one woman has come forward and says she was groped by herman cain after they had dinner. she explains what happened. >> he suddenly reached over and cut his hand on my leg, under my skirt and reaches for might genital area. he also grabbed my head and brought it towards his crotch. i was very surprised and very shocked. i asked him, what are you doing? temperatures. there is fog join up. we're talking some wind chills as well. james fletcher has more on the cold. >>james: we are looking for temperatures to drop into the upper 20s. right now in the north bay, especially in the valleys near santa rosa, it could get chilly. temperatures are freezing in the santa rosa. 27 degrees in fairfield is what it feels like with a little bit of a breeze, that does a lot in terms of making things feel that much colder. as for this afternoon we're looking for conditions to warm more than they were yesterday. the highs will look more like mid-60s. here is where the highs will go this afternoon. we expect the same forecast, low-mid- 60s and similar in the north bay although a touch cooler, mainly the low 60s. here is a quick look at the 7 day around the bay. we have a storm that we're keeping our eyes on. thursday and friday it looks like things will be wet. for now, let's get caught up on the commute. >>george: it is looking slow on interstate 80 westbound. you will see that the drive times have started to grow on 80 westbound. we have been incidents free. the drive time has jumped up to about 22 minutes for this westbound 80 trip. there are still no incidents that have been reported. let's go ahead and continue our checks. an accident in the south bay on highway 101 in the northbound direction, it has already been cleared from the lanes. we have some slowing coming out of the coyote valley. it is not really a hot spot. the drive times are still not too bad. to 80 still looks great headed towards the west valley. let's get to the bridge check. the backup is pretty steady. back up of 16 minutes. the 880 ramp is your best approach to the bay bridge west. you're right on highway 92 to the san mateo bridge, you will see that conditions are good in both directions. the golden gate bridge, 101 southbound is still a very easy trip. the volume looks lighter than usual for the 101 southbound ride. i mentioned earlier that there were some delays, not delays, but a bus bridge in place for the many lines. the line is reportedly having problems because of overhead work being done. >>mark: ministers in greece have offered
