You go out on the road and all it takes is one car to get stuck and now that road is no longer possible. The plows cannot plow the road and the situation quickly descends into chaos. A chaotic, historic, and many are now happy to see go. And United Blood Services is asking for donations to make sure people affected by that blizzard have the lifesaving resources they need. The organization collected donations at several locations in northern nevada today and they are continuing their drive tomorrow. You can go to one of three United Blood Services locations tomorrow to donate between 7 00 and 3 00 in the afternoon. They do have Donation Centers in reno, carson city and sparks. New tonight at 11 00, police handed out citations to 10 bars and Liquor Stores for selling alcohol to minors. The decoys tried to buy alcohols at 31 locations around town using state issued identification. 10 of those places did serve them. Serving alcohol to a minor is a misdemeanor with a 500 price tag. In the next two weeks, drivers can expect to see normal amount of Law Enforcement on the road. Nevada Highway Patrol is teaming up with local Law Enforcement to crack down on drunk and impaired driving. The encouraged people to designate a sober driver or they say you will be arrested. And he was accompanied by brandy who was arrested on charges of possession and Drug Paraphernalia and unrelated orange. Friends and family are remembering a sheriff and his 9 yearold daughter today. [ music ] the public funeral happened this morning. The Deputy Sheriff was driving route 318 when their truck hit black ice on the morning before things giving. Michael and haley died on scene period his wife survived the crash but spent about one month in the hospital with major injuries including more than 20 fractures. Sheriffs officials and members of the marines were at the service today. She was bright and witty and fun. She was tenacious and loved horses and dogs and was just a bright addition.
