Police sent out several Text Messages on wednesday alerting students and staff about a reported Armed Robbery. The womans mother originally reported the incident to police saying that two men stole cash from her daughter. I dont think this is the right video for this story. The next day the alleged victim said that it never happened. And police did issue a citation to the victim because of falsifying a police report. That is a misdemeanor, but they sent out another text message alert letting students know that the Armed Robbery did not happen. News 4 asked a Police Commander why.
