Has vowed to press on with a parliamentary vote to change the country's name to North Macedonia even though Sunday's referendum on the issue fell well short of the threshold needed to make it valid about 90 percent of those who did vote back to the change on the pro European is design have said their view must be respected opposition nationalists campaigns to boycott the vote guided Loney is in scope what we're going to see now is some political negotiations that probably wouldn't have happened if the referendum it passed the 50 percent threshold we're going to see whether from Minnesotans can persuade some of the opposition and pays to find that the national interest that better nature whatever way you can appeal to them he's going to do it and then what external pressure will we see we've already heard the European Commission. Saying that's been a strong vote in favor of this name change and we should proceed accordingly. All that plus the latest sports here's our text line it's worth saving plus 4 for someone 786-2050 p.t.-fi. So 6 minutes past 3 in the morning here in London 6 minutes past 10 in the morning in city on the Indonesian island of sin away z. Where rescue workers have been struggling to reach dozens of people trapped in the rubble after Friday's earthquake and tsunami more than 800 people are known to have died but that number is expected to rise significantly as more and more bodies are recovered rescuers are waiting for heavy machinery to such the ruins of a hotel in the shopping center but aftershocks continue to hit the area Indonesia's president with Ordo has been seeing the damage for himself and Paul. This is indeed an emergency situation the road to this location is mostly cut how even the airport is not running properly but I have already unloaded everything such as fuel the supplies would arrive 2 days from now and all heavy equipment to come tonight so we can use it tomorrow with relief aid such as food and clean and we are today. The government will hope the national disaster agency has announced plans for mass graves and one that was being dug on Sunday night is expected to hold in these 300 bodies so they know some Bang is the chairperson of Save the Children's Party in Indonesia and joins us from the capital Jakarta but 1st of all what is the the immediate need in terms of aid that well right now the biggest challenge for us and other relief agencies is really just access as the airport is Dan mentioned remain shut for commercial traffic. We have an initial response team on on a Navy ship and should be arriving by midday today. Our immediate needs right now including evacuation and management of those who are injured for search and rescue as well which will be done by the military medical and health services food hygiene kits shelter and also water for the children and we are also aiming to provide psychosocial support and. Counseling because this is such a huge traumatic and emotional impact of children who have lost their family and friends just give us an idea of the extent of this disaster from the for looking at it from the outside it looks like the authorities have really struggled Yes they have we are really looking into heavy equipment and ambulances to be brought in but as I mentioned the roads are still covered with landslides so I suspect it will be a few more days until until those arrive in the meantime all of the agencies who are on the ground as well as the military are really doing with what they have right now yeah and you talked about. Trying to help with the mental health of the children that have been affected just expand a little on that for us. In such a case there are already reports of children lost on the streets and looking for their or their relatives and our immediate priority for that is also of course to make sure that their health and protection is looked after. And also to establish a family tracking system so we will register their identity of possible and 'd look for his or her family in hospitals and shelters that the government has put up you know and in terms of the high tech early warning system of sea floor sensors than Indonesia was supposed to have they were put in place after the last earthquake in 2004 there's been lot of criticism of it well if you've been hearing yes a tsunami warning was issued prior to it hitting land but a logical may have underestimated the size and impact of this and possibly step down earlier than it should have but this could also be the difficulty of predicting. The scale of the tsunami to meet geology in that area. Not only ology expert but right now I think the government is really looking to learn and understand what happens do you do you know whether the with a vague spirits from that earthquake in terms of dealing with the aftermath of it in the aid situation there do you think the authorities that's going to help them in this situation. Well the government is still responding we are also still responding to the earthquake and round up last month and I think this is going to be a challenge for a part anyone on the ground as well as the government to be able to mobilize teens both lockouts I thank you Salina Salina some bunk there chairperson of Save the Children's partner in Indonesia joining us from the capital Jakarta the death toll that's over 800 at the moment that is expected to rise significantly as they recover more and more bodies from the rubble. So it is up to 3 o'clock here in London now will not be renamed. Our friend a Muslim held on changing its name but less than 50 percent of their Noons timed out to vote for those who did other is also just that more than 90 percent supported the change Balkans correspondent go Delaney has 0 ease in Macedonia as capital. The result is a significant blow for prime ministers or undesired he'd made the name change his top priority since taking office last year but a nationalist campaign to boycott the polls rather than vote no has been devastatingly successful the low turnout to means the referendum isn't binding but Mr desire said the boycott wouldn't to rail the deal with Greece leaving aside the organized boycott by the opposition I expect that the shoot majority of the citizens who voted have chosen the European powers for Macedonia that. 0 supporters of the boycott campaign held a party in front of the National Assembly they said they'd stood up for Macedonia is right to self-determination Yes. I want to keep the same name for the same country wherever I go I will be methadone you want and you can be do I don't want to be north. Eastern I just want to be the Republic of Macedonia adding the word north would have ended a decades old dispute over the country's name with neighboring Greece which has its own region called Macedonia Athens had agreed to drop its objections to Macedonia joining NATO and the European Union as long as it ratified the name change that now looks an extremely complicated challenge but so many to cut scope years ago Rippy and Policy Institute says that some M.P.'s from the opposition party even more all may yet suppose. The name change it should not be impossible we object if is to draft as much as possible those constitutional amendments in consultation with the opposition in order to increase long term the support for this agreement with Greece more than 90 percent of those who did vote agreed with the name change NATO secretary general yen Stoltenberg said he welcomed the yes vote and the e.u. Enlargement commissioner Your Highness Han called the outcome very significant despite the boycott the agreement with Greece is still alive and to learn the reporting. News Day from the b.b.c. World Service that example Hawkins good to have you with us coming up to a quarter past 3 in the morning here in London still to come has Canada agreed to a revised version of the free trade NAFTA agreement with the u.s. And Mexico the deadline for that agreement less than 2 hours away in fact Plus rebuilding the North Carolina beaches after the recent hurricane but at what cost to the environment let's give a little sports news always to Ross Good morning Allister's Good morning hour not often we talk about golf parts it was the big thing over the weekend the Ryder Cup in Europe captain Thomas Bjorn saying this year's team was the best he'd ever been involved with Europe thrashing the USA 17 and a half to 10 and a half in the end at the Golf National there Paris to regain the trophy Professor Molinari becoming the 1st European player to ever win 5 points at a single Ryder Cup Sergio Garcia Meanwhile winning Sunday's singles match to take his career tally to $25.00 and a half points that's overtaking So Nick Faldo's Mark to become the tolerance record point scorer Cameron's a star striker of instead of paper car is facing a race to be fit for next year's Africa Cup of Nations after having the surgery at the weekend his club Porto says the 26 year old will be out for several months as he ruptured a ligament in their match in the Portuguese league on Friday and Lewis Hamilton said his boss eighty's team were right to order Valtteri Bottas to move aside and let him win the Formula One Russian Grand Prix the decision to enforce team orders means Hamilton's extended his later the drivers' championship to 50 points his a closest title rival Sebastian Vettel finished in 3rd place Alison thank you very much Rob you speaking again very very short list of us if you're no good to another story we've been keeping an eye on so just of on our to go until the deadline passes for Canada to agree to a version of the North American Free Trade Agreement as far as we're hearing a framework has been agreed. Let's get some more information on these and put it all into perspective with the help of Bruce Heyman who's a former u.s. Ambassador to kind of welcome to News Day coming to us what do you know so far so the latest is in fact while not officially announced sources are coming out of Ottawa and Washington that are saying that a deal has been reached in principle which means that Canada can join in to the existing Mexico u.s. Framework and this will be presented just as we speak within the next hour or so because there is a deadline. Just tonight so this was at the very end of a long ago shouting process for the last year and when you see presented what do you mean most will screen top of next so what happens next which man actually be even harder than what's happened here is that it has to be passed by the legislatures in each of the 3 countries and so the legislature. President over it or is already in place even though Pena Nieto will sign off on this the legislature of Justin Trudeau will have to tackle this in all of this is going to most likely take place in 2019 Justin Trudeau will be facing election and then back here in the United States the Congress is likely to be different than the Congress the way it looks today and so is this could be very difficult to get passed in all 3 capitals but at least you have an agreement and coming into it's a nice deadline kind of the essentially said at some point that no deal is better than a budget deal do think it has walked away with its head up. I think so I think the bigger issue here and then you Albrecht United States around the world President Trump thinks very much in transactional terms and the u.s. Candor relationship is much deeper and broader than that goes back several centuries and you know we we have very few better friends in the world than our next door neighbor Canada and so the damage that may have been done diplomatically personally and to that friendship may be much more than what we've achieved here on this this transaction and why do you think a President Trump wanted to have revisited. So there's this gap between rich and poor that's happening throughout the world much of it is due to technological change. But you know it's hard to blame that on your i Phone or on robotics that you're losing your job he used NAFTA as a source for political gain all throughout his campaign of saying the reason you're having such difficult times economically is because of this really bad agreement and look to me I can fix it so this is really important for him and with the midterms coming up in just 5 weeks he now has a victory that he can proclaim to many of these workers that he is going to improve their lives so what will the new look nuff to be like was a little ship will it take so think about this they original NAFTA is coming up on 25 years old this January the new NAFTA will update many provisions within this agreement many industries. That existed 25 years ago don't exist today and many that are very important to us today didn't exist back then so technically it will be updated in addition to that rumors have it that there will be caps on automobile sales out of Mexico and out of Canada and they will open up their dairy market which was highly protected in the supply management process but for the most part it's just an updating of an older agreement and I don't think it's going to change that much but the president will that Khloe this is a major victory tomorrow and I bet President Trump will remain a just a draw Christmas card lease. Well I tell you we were next door neighbors we're not moving anywhere. We do so much trip together and we do so many things around the world together I think we have to be friendly regardless of party and personality differences really good to talk to your boss that we thank you for your time of the spruce home and a former u.s. Ambassador to Canada. 21 minutes past the hour we go to California next with a new law that says major companies will have to have at least one woman on their boards of directors by the end of next year so let's find out more about this new law Andrew Wood is our business presenter this morning in Hong Kong Andrew tell us a little bit about this what are they mean by major companies by major companies they mean companies that are 1st of all have their headquarters in California so that means for example companies like Apple and Facebook and also that those companies are listed on the stock market so there are a lot of big companies in California it's a great place for technology companies to to set up the rules which have come in the California governor of California Jerry Brown has signed the signed the law which had been passed by the Senate and so on in California he signed it on Sunday . As you say the cut these companies will have to have at least one woman on their boards of directors by the end of 2019 and by the end of 2021 if the company has 5 directors it should have at least 2 female directors and if the company has 6 or more directors then it should have at least 3 women as directors the Foreign Service was probably not very big when you compare to some of the the big multinationals in California $100000.00 at least and do we know is there any other law like this anywhere else in the United States or indeed the world. Oh plenty of European countries have similar laws I mean Norway introduced a mandate back in 2008 that more than that at least 40 percent of board directors had to be female Belgium France and Italy have similar laws as well there are so what's called soft quotas in places like Germany Spain and the Netherlands which shares say the law requires this but there aren't really any sanctions against companies if they break it the u.k. Has opted just just for guidelines and just remind us very quickly why this is necessary well in California apparently one quarter of these companies don't have any women a toll on their boards of directors and supporters say well look women take up 50 percent of the population in some cases they make 70 percent of the purchasing decisions in the in the household and that companies cannot really the argument is that companies can't really reflect and do business properly if they don't have representatives of people who think like their customers on their boards of directors and the need to legislate Thank you Andrew that's our business presenting this morning Andrew would. Now listen to news. And pull Holkins we're going to the American coastline of North Carolina where politicians are meeting on Tuesday to talk about funding for projects through b. The coastline after the recent Harakah of the project are known as the beach nourishment initiatives but these criticisms of the not sustainable or good for the environment or what Young is a geology professor at Western Carolina University good to have you on Professor Young. What is a beach nourishment initiative. But beach nourishment is when you take sand from just offshore of the beach maybe 2 or 3 kilometers and you pump that sand dredge up pipeline back onto the beach to essentially rebuild the beach in front of the investment property the homes the infrastructure along the coast it's a way to stabilize the shoreline and prevent it from eroding and moving landward and it's done quite frequently throughout Europe Australia and the us as a means of holding shorelines in place over the long term sounds like a complete logistical nightmare that comes with a huge price tag. Well it is definitely something that you you can't do it once and walk away just because you put the send back on the beach doesn't mean the beach is no longer eroding so it is a never ending commitment and as you say because of that it's very expensive you know moving the sand in a watery slurry is it takes months for any individual project it's very heavy and so you know typical projects cost tens of millions of dollars Wow And is it effective. Well. If you're able to do it frequently enough and you have enough sand nearby it can be effective but in many parts of the u.s. Coast including the southern part of North Carolina where Florence just struck we're actually running out of sand you know the ocean bottom isn't isn't just sort of an endless supply of sand so there are some places where despite the costs even if you can afford it we can't get enough sand So what happens in a case where you don't because you're not good Imagine that. It must have implications environmental implications could do print a picture of what that's like well it definitely has environmental implications because you know you're removing the sand from the near shore bottom and any of the organisms that were living in that area are dead and then you bury the intertidal zone so you're pushing the beach back out into the ocean so all of the organisms that live just offshore of that beach are killed by that burial so you know that clearly there are environmental implications if you just did this once and you never did it again those systems would probably recover but the problem with beach nourishment is you have to do it over and over and over again you know it's a never ending commitment so there are these cumulative impacts and how do you mean to get those well that's a very good question I think the big problem is that you know a around the world we still don't have a very good quantitative understanding for the degree of those environmental impacts and you know I'll be honest for the most part the folks who advocate for these projects really probably don't want to know really I don't think so why do you say that. Well because the primary goals are protecting. That oceanfront infrastructure and that tax base that is along the ocean front and if that protection that's being provided by beach erosion project is causing significant environmental damage Well that's a little bit inconvenient Isn't it is an alternative to it well the alternative the best alternative I think is to take those areas that are severely eroding those places that you know it's just very costly to hold in place and we just have to get some of that infrastructure some of that home some of that investment property or way from the coast you know the us is a big country we don't need to hold every single shoreline in place forever along the East Coast in the Gulf Coast and but at the moment it seems like that's what we're trying to do really good to talk to you thank you for this occasion Paul did you know anything about that no I didn't but I run a law prohibits Young thank you very much Professor not Western Carline any of us can say speaking of education in the next half hour if you can stay with us because we're going to tell you about West African boxing do you know what that is for they fight with a rug on their face one of their face has rights over it and they fight that way apparently could be the next big thing in world sport and also tell you what can you West is change his name he's in calling. World Service with maple Wilkinson him coming out was to African dumby boxing 3 rounds each fighter has one fist dropped in a rope could it become a big worldwide sport is it safe plus column kind of or do you see which of those the West's latest news made these changes they write. But we start with a cold from a top u.n. Official for immediate independent investigations into atrocities committed against English speaking people in Cameroon where the official language is French the secretary general's special advisor on the prevention of genocide Adama d.-n. Has described the killings and the displacement of thousands of people in Cameroon as worrying hundreds of people have been killed in violence between government forces and separatist English speaking militants on Sunday English speaking regions were put under 48 hour curfew ahead of Tuesday's or Today's anniversary of a symbolic declination of independence by separatists are the margin was speaking to the b.b.c. Ahead of common rules presidential poll to be held on the 7th of October what is happening today the crimes committed by both parties need to be properly and independently investigated and the perpetrators of those crimes need to be brought. To justice so that people know that no one. Above the law. Oh come on an equal Professor Amine from the Department of History of the diversity of Dayton in the u.s. Is originally from Cameroon and he gave us this assessment this violence is intense it's not I wasn't covering up in June this past June this is not something that can be pushed aside this country or section of the countries literally don Ok Tell me about what you saw in June when you and I went to the city of Kumar and I plan to stay there for 3 weeks I stayed there for 8 days and I had to coordinate very carefully how to leave the country I saw military officers walking in the streets would have gone in ready position to shoot their faces cover I grew up in Kumar I have never seen such a thing in that city I asked the key people in coma how do people deal with this because the probability for accidents to happen is very high they said they have gotten used. I engaged in conversations with people every everyone I talk with either knew someone who had been killed or had been displaced or was about to leave I have family members who sometimes escape into the bush then come back when you talked about having to coordinate to exit What did you mean by that I had to basically what would friends who have to tell me exactly what time to leave what time of a go should leave and we have to we have to travel in a convoy if the convoy was not a valid will we should wait we should cancel the trip and go another day that we had to leave in the morning because of the dangers on the way and so so was coordination again this is something I have never experienced I grew up in Cameroon and will journey from there I'm there every year I have never seen anything like this and so my point here is that the danger is real the violence is we are the problems are real and unfortunately the government insists on having elections we are talking about that do you think that now would be a good time to be holding those elections this is clearly the wrong time under the wrong thing to do the fundamentally what needs to be done is look for a way to resolve these problems before the elections counted because just because people are going to vote doesn't mean that the process of democracy is what a walk in this process began as a result of neglected this problem began as a result of economic exclusion but then you must argument might be that people like you who are saying elections should not take place. Suppressing a voice or denying coverage and to say you on the bottom and I and I hear that that is a very good argument the fundamental problem is that they has been tremendous the population of under from Cameroon So who is voting in and reform Cameroon again the city a growing and I talked to people there on a daily basis they told me that more than half. The population of Kumar is no longer version which is a real irony that they have moved out to French speaking camera this is a great country and has been allowed to call ups in a way that is unbelievable somehow mismanagement seems somehow the greed somehow the softness and somehow of that sons of you know no vision is learned as concrete collapse of the Us Julius I'm in from the Department of History at the University of Dayton in the us. Went to 3 minutes to the day from the b.b.c. World Service with Alan and Paul good to have you with us still to come we'll tell you about a traditional West African former boxing where each fighter has a rope rats around one of their faces. Was the interest that he he's not sure he would come out to see if the allegations will in judgment of one in one of them even Dad subsequently and personally not afraid and very proud of being a then be able to say the 1st rule of them by fighting is you do talk about them they fighting so more to follow looking forward to that let's go to Nigeria now and get some more the news over the weekend that the president Mahmoud Abbas is going to run for reelection in February 21000 the president is from the all progressive Congress party of the question is who will be who will he be up against the main opposition people Democratic Party are in the process of choosing their country that a professor Djibril Ibrahim is director of the Nigerian based Center for Democracy and Development Studies it's not. Contest. He's. Can been president so I don't think anybody was surprised it's a bit surprising that is the only contest and this is Nigeria country find another candidate to go against an incumbent that. Tens of thousands of people who want to be president President but I think related type she had made it very clear since it's early declare a ship enough is in a change and contest. Other contestants may not come so I think people who want to contest simply left to Patty to contest and out of that platform does it mean the fact that there's nobody taking him on in his party mean that he's a strong candidate that he has actually performed well in his 1st term as president well. And not necessarily be related and he's definitely strong and because a lot of people especially in his days in the northeast and northwest of names you know support in strongly in low took all of their people a few years and formed as well as he could so they're. Actually 2 towards him among many of the elect So it's in the country so to really be interesting to see how that will pan out those who support him going to be the majority you know those went on with this ordinance so now the main opposition p.d.p. Are choosing their candidate there's more than one country be interested in Tottenham a nation who do you think stands out as a frontrunner it's very difficult to tell who is frontrunner night interests but I think 3 candidates and though at this time one is the former vice president. The 2nd one is the Senate president. And it's hard to anything given up so could just I mean a tumble right now what do you think the main issues will be for Nigerians as they prepare for the polls in 21000. I think the issue of puffball minus. 500 and under the key tag gets you has such claims so and then said a lot of debate and division of a book that well many people think he has bias from so if you simply must feel he has not tough on death toll which of the 3 doctors. When he said he will actress the issue of insecurity that's the 1st one especially people quote had on in a sudden city the 2nd issue is corruption there to be able to come back to court option that exists in the country and that side issue is employment its case should be used on and climate in which he said he would be able to trace hundreds of these guys are just really walking in discrete or well you know we really don't talk. To lab coats in the country so we don't have numbers to work with but was that. Really counts. As a very divided opinion among Nigerians some people let's say Well given the cost change she has had is formed as well as we should expect him to well the saying is it took her disappointment and had not found a toe in this to the issues he Stadio be able to trace in his 1st 4 years in office this professor Jabr and it brought him director of the Nigeria based Center for Democracy and Development Studies. News dot com We'll talk about traditional West African boxing in just a moment before that Britain where the governing Conservative Party are holding their annual conference in Birmingham the last before breaks it that is when Britain leaves the European Union and the end of March next year something which has never been tried before and has become the political issue here in the u.k. And across Europe it will of course dominate the conference specifically prime minister to resume a plan on how Britain will leave the e.u. And she's under pressure to drop her so-called checkers plan by M.P.'s from her own party the e.u. Has said it doesn't like the plan either the B.B.C.'s Robertson is at the conference in Birmingham where he's been speaking to Conservative M.P.'s and members it's rather strange you might think that they'd be kind of horribly subdued and wired about Brecht and everything else but there's a certain sort of fear is that you always got a conservative party conferences and that certainly continues but look there's no doubt that this is a deeply divided. Martin in Porus Johnson former foreign secretary had described three's amazed that plans as the range there's even been a place. In the conference hall where someone is handing out badges that you can put on the chalk checkers so absolutely plenty of plenty of evidence of division on this issue the key issue of Europe and certainly there are lots of people here who are wired about her leadership but here's the thing she says What are the alternatives crashing out of the European Union without any form of a deal at all with all the consequences that would have for political impasse here in the u.k. And domestic u.k. Politics with who knows another election another general wrap another general election another referendum so in many ways it's taught by society the most positive or attractive package but that's it that's saying it's either my ideal or just think about those consequences and it's my hunch and the hunch of most of the political hacks here that this is an exercise in damage Taishan less this week and that she will probably limp through it but the real problem is going to come the real challenge is going to come if she then goes back to Brussels and if the European Union keeps saying no no we don't like your deal and then she will have she will then have the tough call to make to she make further concessions to the European Union or does she continue with a threat to leave without a deal many moods and turns to come before bricks in the end of March 60 years to be robots and at the Conservative conference in them speaking of fighting list a little bottle traditional form of boxing in West Africa where each fighter has a rope wrapped around one of their fists up just been watching some of it and it's brutal it's. Many believe there are a lot of potential in Denver boxing but given its traditional essence and have some time appealing to the global audience might be a week to ask. Him a. Little colicky collets reporting from. 7 minutes 6 minutes even 6 minutes to the lead stalk about Kanye West or is that his name one of the world's most influential music sauces announce he's actually changed his name between same ingenues k.j. Matthews How should we refer to him k j he will now be referred to as just yes just why he has dropped the k 8 in from Kanye and it sounds what you'll be referred to as he dropped the can yes he did it once again another day another Kanye West chapter. Right right right it's the latest in a series of tweets for him you know he performed on Saturday night here in the States on a show called starting Night Live formed about 3 songs and right before he went on the show he tweeted out that he was changing his name and then for 3 performances I think was the 3rd performance towards the end of the show he walks on stage with a mag a hat Make America Great Again which are the famous you know campaign slogan had that Donald President Donald Trump had during the campaign trail and he starts to say that you know people backstage threaten him and bullied him and told him not to come out on stage wearing the Makah hat but he decided to do it anyway because he wants to let people know that he cannot be controlled and it's his freedom in his right to express himself and that he's going to express himself this way and that part of the speech was actually cut off so it's gone viral now you can find it on You Tube and on parts of Twitter on the Internet where people are playing the portion that the network cut off so it's been quite a few interesting 24 to 48 hours for Kanye West right say he made that speech on Saturday Night Live Well 1st of all have how did how did I was I speak do we know how that was received on the show that quite often kind of mocks Donald Trump. Right you know they let him have the platform they let him speak there was a group of people in his entourage and some members of the cast of Saturday Night Live they just kind of stood by silently particularly when he mentioned that most of Hollywood was liberal and most of the media was liberal was an awkward thing you know because they've spent so much time obviously attacking him kind of making fun of President Trump who is now his hero so it was surprising to see how they responded to that but Kanye West tweeted on Sunday that he spoke to Lorne Michaels the creator and the head of Saturday Night Live and that he says that Lorne Michaels loved it so much that he invited them back and says he's welcome to perform again on Saturday Night Live before the end of this year so that's interesting to see if he'll return yeah definitely busted on the stand why he took the can you know the interesting thing I was looking around for that and one thing he says he's always gone by yea with a lot of people in the rap community have always called him yeah he is a nickname but a couple months ago he was on a hip hop radio station and he toed the d.j. That he believes Yeah he is most commonly use were in the Bible and he says in the Bible it means you so he says he's changing it because he's he's into you he's saying I'm you I'm it went from being Kanye which means to just being you know one to all of them so he says he's a reflection of good bad and everyone it makes him feel more in connection with the world so to speak I don't know if there's any truth to that but that's what he's saying about the name change yeah it sounds like a bit of a celebrity thing and yet it is easy to say easy now yeah yeah the us is fully known as kind of the right you know the interesting thing about Kanye he always drums up some sort of controversial tidbit in the media right around the time it is expected for him to release new music and guess what what I have been leaving his yes yes I want to go. Didn't he has a night studio album coming out called Jante like Gandhi but with n y And that was supposed to be released on Saturday it was not released on Saturday so I Everybody's waiting to find out is it going to be released this week has it been pushed back another month but always whenever there's an album release there's something going on if you recall his 8th studio album was released earlier this year I think around May or June and that's right around the time he made those controversial statements saying that slavery seemed like a choice I know you remember that you know it was a big big brouhaha right around the time where you had an album coming out so a lot of people still don't know what to make of Kanye you know he always seems to court controversy right around an album release Go figure well we're trying to figure and I think we'll keep on doing that. Matthews that Los Angeles based entertainment Jenice giving us the latest on the Aussies formerly known as Kenya and now just yeah yeah. You're listening to the b.b.c.
