Thre being sued by the Des Moines Water Works for allowing too much nitrate runoff from farm fields into the racoon river. Which is where the city gets its drinking water. Its suing drainage districts in sac. Calhoun. And buena vista counties. Attorneys representing the drainage districts are asking federal judge mark bennett to dismiss 10 of the 12 claims.
