Tonight we have Team Coverage ton water woes starting with team 1 and we just spoke with a Buckeye City Council member about this problem. Charlie . Reporter you said it. We just spoke a few moments ago the city of buckeye. The first person and the only person we have been able to get on camera to answer some questions. The councilmember says he watched a portion of the meeting from this afternoon that drew about two dozen residents complaining about their high water bills that was live streamed on 1news. Com. He said he couldnt attend because it was short notice and he also had meetings. He spoke to the citys mayor and he told me that several people are now working to address the numerous complains over the past couple of days. The councilman reiterated that he is not an expert in the Water Resources department but did question the have diddity of some of the complaints and encouraged the citizens who have not gotten answers to cant their councilmember. We told him that many people we have spoken to have done that several times and contacted the department and also said that they also never got a call back or any kind of help. It is a sensitive issue i dont like it i have people out there who are hurting for christmas and things like that. I dont like it one bit. On the other hand, i dont have an answer.
