Id like to listen to your lungs. The very first two times we went, both of the people we identified, they were having a medical issue then and we were able to, with the partnership with the v. A. , get them down to the v. A. And get them a hospital room then because they needed it. Were starting a pilot to identify, coordinate and connect chandler veterans to health care. And it was a prostate cancer. They rated it on one to 10 and i was a nine. How much sleep do you get. Seven, eight. I get up a lot. And they come and talk to the hospital. And i think they have been here six or seven times, havent you . 99. That is pretty good. Reporter chandler fire and medical hoping other Department Also see the success they have had and start programs of their own. In the meantime, veterans returned phone calls. Thank you. The remains of a war hero who had been stationed at Luke Air Force base returned to the u. S. 10 years after he died. And the 16 fighting falcon pilot troy gilbert was killed in combat operations in iraq. The return of his body bringing closure to his family. Team 12s brian west put together the following tribute to this a friend of mine was killed october 26,2006. Trojan was an f. 16 pilot. Troy was a firstclass warrior and really it reflected what he was in life. He was a family man. He had five children when he deployed. About two months ago, some tribal leaders in iraq alerted american authorities that they did have his remains. Recover the body. We dont leave anyone behind, and when we have the opportunity to bring back a fallen soldier, sailor, airman or marine, we do that. The bridge was dedicated to trojan gilbert. It connects the two sides of the base. Back in april, ginger gilbert, troys wife, visited Luke Air Force byes and we were able o her a chance, with family and friends, to see the bridge and see the memorial. It is important as we look back on all of our conflicts that were paying attention to never leaving any of our Service Members behind. Major troy gilberts bid yes and five children were there to greet his flag draped coffin. She thanked all who searched for his body over the past 10 years. Day and the new poll says arizona is in auto dead heat between Hillary Clinton and donald trump. An independent poll shows clinton leading trump 43 to 42 . The firm also polled proposition 205, the ballot measure that would legalize marijuana in arizona. That, too, appears to be a dead heat. 45 opposing it and 44 say yes. Legalize it. Some of the claims being made opposing prop 205 come from leaders in colorado who have implemented there since 2012. Take a listen. Colorado now leads the nation and marijuanarelated traffic deaths have increased 62 . We were promised new money for education. Denver schools got nothing. Those are some of the assertions being made against prop 205. As we explore this debate, joining me is the Campaign Manager nor in on prop 205. Thank you for being here. And they claim the deaths went up, and is that given that partisanrelated crashes a broad term and does not necessarily mean that marijuana caused the crashes. At the end of the day the voter also have to answer the questions. The report has shown that marijuana trafficrelated deaths have gone up 62 . Is that a problem we want to have here in arizona . None of the things that were seeing in colorado are things we want the see in arizona. It is not just the deaths. Accidental ingestion from children of edibles. Were seeing all of the different consequences. The other side is running a very Misleading Campaign and we need to show the truth and thats what this campaign is about. And there is also the claim that there is the teen yous of marijuana. The state Health Department was not seen a rise in the use of pot and what we failed to show, basically, which is the basis of this claim, which is another shows just over 12 of teens use this. Why is one study more reliable than the other . The state city does not take into account for all of the counties. The federal study takes all of the counties in colorado. The other thing i would tell you is both studies show that marijuana use is up. Something for the voters to really answer that question. Do we want the see teen use rise in arizona . Do we want to see accidental deaths or accidents from traffic deets and so on . Arizona voters will have to decide. And saying the schools got no tax dollars for marijuana sales. It is not because the money wasnt available. It is because the district did in the apply for the funds a lot of people are saying wouldnt attacks on marijuana, whether it is legal or not, wouldnt attacks make sense to put more money into these schools . So another thing that the other side is saying, money is going to go to schools, completely false. Proposition 205, the way it is written, the first revenue is marijuana thats in the statue, and we encourage all voters to read that, the full length and every word of that initiative is up there. Every word that is left over then goes to schools. What theyre saying is going to go to schools not even enough to buy a single textbook for every single child that is in the arizona schools right now. An issue worth looking into on both sides. We appreciate your being here with no on prop 205. Thank you. Thank ou and one says he does not see any reason to keep Sheriff Joe Arpaios tent city open. He was the guest on this weekends sunday squareoff. And he discussed the problems in the sheriffs jails, including outdoor jail facilities. Theres no need for it right now i know a lot of people are attached to it. What is best for taxpayers, for safety, for detention officers, and inmates for how we house them. You dont think there is a need for tent city . Was necessary, we would clean it up, but i dont see an argument for it rye right now. We invited Sheriff Joe Arpaio to come on the she and he declined.
