His plan was to kill employees and officers working in and around the u. S. Capitol. Cornells plot was foiled outside this gun range in southwestern ohio. While he allegedly bought two semiautomatic rifles and 600 rounds of Ammunition Police were waiting outside to arrest him. By that time. The agents had come across the parking lot.
