Did not authorize him to enter restricted air space. But he made it to the capitol. Once he was on the ground. Police surrounded the gyrocopter. Then they took hughes into custody and deployed the bomb squad to make sure there were no explosives. A friend of hughes tells us that the secret service knew that he had something planned, and agents interviewed him about a year ago. The Tampa Bay Times did not tell the secret service about this specific plan until today but that was after hughes had taken off. Jurors took seven days to find hernandez guilty of murdering his friend odin lloyd in june ofin 2013. Lloyds body was found in an Industrial Park less than a mile from hernandezs home. Aaron hernandez may have been a wellknown new England Patriots football player, however, in the end the jury found that he was just a man who committed a brutal murder. Surveillance video from hernandezs own home showed him holding something resembling a gun the day lloyd was killed. Video also showed his fiancee, shayanna jenkins, removing a box from their home.
