A new report tonight accuses President Trump was compromising National Security to advance his personal political interests by trying to pressure ukraine to interfere in the 2020 election. The report also accuses Key Administration officials of being involved in the scheme, and this now sets up the next phase of the impeachment inquiry hearings before the House Judiciary Committee that begin tomorrow. Nancy cordes is at the capitol gh and, nancy at 300 pages, there is a lot in this report. Reporter there is, norah. The report essentially lays out all the evidence for impeachment, and the House Intelligence Committee which did the digging, just voted to hand those findings over to the House Judiciary Committee, which historically has handled articles of impeachment. The report is based on two months of depositions and hearings involving 17 witnesses. The testimony you are about to give is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but truth. Reporter the key finding is this that President Trump used the power of his office to apply increasing pressure on the president of ukraine to investigate a campaign rival, joe biden. Everyone was in the loop. Reporter the report lays out evidence that a slate of top officials, including the secretary of state, secretary of energy, and acting white house chief of staff, had knowledge of and in some cases facilitated and furthered the president s scheme. Reporter here in oshkosh, a School Resource officer reported being stabbed by a 16yearold student, fending him off in his School Office by shooting him. Just 33 hours earlier and 80 miles to the south, another violent altercation took place after a Waukesha High School student reported a classmate with a gun. The 17yearold suspect in that case was shot by police after he allegedly menaced them with a weapon this pellet gun. A second one was located in his backpack. He, too, is expected to survive. Reporter dunphy is one of about 10 million americans a new investigation says is one click away from a sexual predator, hiding behind a profile on free dating apps and sites like tinder, okcupid, hinge, and plenty of fish. All of those apps are owned by match group which also runs match. Com, which does scrub user profiles that are found on sex offender registry. Match group has promised to screen against the sex offender registry list for specially match. Com but has not extended that to the rest of its apps. Reporter Hillary Flynn is with columbia journalism investigations. A match Group Spokesperson told her team there are definitely registered sex offenders on our free products. Almost all of these attacks occur on the first date. Reporter dunphy says she met Mark Papamechail on plenty of fish before it was owned by match group. She had no idea he was registered as a sex offender with prior rape convictions. He said she felt comfortable and went to papamechails house where she says he raped her. Right after it happened, i told a few of my very close friends. I think i was in shock reporter dunphy filed a police report, and papamechail was held for two years in county jail. He was later acquitted. By 2017, papamechail was back on plenty of fish, where he matched with a woman who also told police he raped her. A case against him was dropped after that woman died the next year. Dunphy says these dating apps need to do more. A simple background check would have saved this whole thing from happening.
