We are getting reports of an accident where a vehicle went down an embankment and hit a power pole so there is Traffic Control in saratoga on highway 9 at sanborn. Caltrans actually cleared quite a few projects within the last 10 minutes. That earlier roadwork on the upper deck of the bay bridge near the Center Anchorage is clear freeflowing through there. Roadwork reported along the dumbarton is wrapped up within the last few minutes. 880 not showing any signs of delays this morning. Eastbound 4 at Loveridge Caltrans is in the process of picking up those cones right now. We are still seeing some delays. This is a full freeway closure. So it may take a few minutes until they wrap things up but that should be clear within the next 10, 15 minutes. No major delays on the westbound side. Thank you. For now, classes are set up in monroe six miles away. Teachers have transformed a shutdown middle school into the new sandy hook. The theater invited victims families to attend a, quote, special evening of remembrance at the theater on january 17. A knife. Crime scene investigators are here on the scene. Im on 40th avenue in the Richmond District of San Francisco. The planter box you see behind me is where they found this knife. Here are some pictures a little closer of that knife right before crime scene investigators removed it. They will be trying to get fingerprints from that knife. What happened, what we know right now, is that just before 3 a. M. , a group of men made their way into this home. They had guns and then also that knife. And they stole several items including electronics, luggage and cash. A group of young adults was in the home at the time. Nobody was injured. Shortly after the robbery, police were able to track an iphone that was stolen. They were on the trail of the robbers for a while but then the robbers turned the phone off and police couldnt track it. So they are still collecting evidence here at the scene. The goal is to fix levees to prevent more flooding from San Francisquito creek in East Palo Alto. Cbs 5 reporter cate caugiran is in East Palo Alto to explain what the city wants from the state to ease flooding fears. Reporter East Palo Alto according to the San Jose Mercury news will ask the state for 2. 7 million to fix a levee breached after last months wave of storms. Now, heavy rains caused the creek to rise to its third highest water flow since 1930. 7 homes were evacuated then. The surrounding neighborhood which is at a lower level than the creek saw massive water and mud damage. Officials say if the state money comes through repairs will be done right away. The state is coming down and looking at these issues that we had the proclamation about. They are coming down tomorrow in fact. We are hoping to get funds quickly to start work immediately. Reporter we want to clarify that comment was made yesterday before last nights meeting. City leaders say about 49 of East Palo Alto is within a flood plain and a levee or creek ail your would cause massive damage. Another major project is under way to help the creek. A few minutes ago i spoke with the people who were robbed here at this home. Im on 40th avenue in San Franciscos richmon district. A group of students at sf state says that at 3 a. M. A group of men barged through their door. They had left their door unlocked. The group tried to tie them up, took one of their kitchen knives, threatened them and then stole a whole bunch of their stuff. A bunch of electronics, some luggage, a lot of cash as well as other electronics such as reporting devices and iphones. Police tracked the group for a few minutes, the iphone.
