Reporter police this afternoon now questioning if the suspects perhaps had other bigger attacks in mind. Police revealed just a short time ago that the two shooters fired up to 75 rounds just at that Holiday Party. And they had a lot more ammo ready to go. An Assault Rifle and a bullet riddled suv are part of a crime scene as police in San Bernardino continue their investigation into why two shooters opened fire on a Holiday Party at a social services center. The suspects have been identified as a husband and wife, 28yearold Syed Rizwan Farook and 27yearold tashfeen malik. They were killed in a shootout with police several hours after the rampage. It is possible that this was terroristrelated. But we dont know. Reporter at the shooting scene, police found three pipe bombs linked to a remote controlled device that apparently malfunctioned. They also found additional explosives in a nearby house that the suspects rented. The search that took place revealed that there were 12 pipe bomb type devices found in that house or in the garage of that house. Reporter farook worked for the San Bernardino department of health. Police said he attended their Holiday Gathering wednesday more before disappearing. Investigators say he returned with his wife, both dressed in combat style clothes. There appears to be a degree of planning that went into this. Nobody just gets up so the at a party, goes home and puts together that kind of an elaborate plan to do that. Reporter u. S. Officials say neither of the shooters has shown up on u. S. Terror watch lists. Farook was an american citizen born in chicago. Authorities have not released any Background Information about his wife. In the garage of the suspects home alongside about a dozen homemade pipe bombs they found 3,000 rounds of ammunition. Officials say they expect to release the names of all the victims involved in this as we move on here throughout the day. Rnardino, california, im chris martinez. Just looking at the scope of all of that ammunition, those weapons they found, it certainly would seem to them that perhaps there was something larger in the works. But their initial goal right now is to figure out the motive for this shooting. They still dont have a motive and thats a question that people are asking. During the final shootout with authorities, they had 1400 rounds for their assault weapons, 200plus rounds for their ninemillimeter weapons, a search of their home turning up another serious ammo stash more than 3,000 bullets and 12 pipe bombs. San Francisco Police are facing tough questions over the shooting death of a stabbing suspect that was caught on camera yesterday in the Bayview District in front of a muni bus loaded with passengers. This morning, the man was identified as 26yearold mario woods of San Francisco. Police say woods was armed with a knife at the time and the o appears to show him walking slowly before he was shot. This suspect had already demonstrated by committing a felony aggravated assault that he was a danger to others so he could not be allowed to move away from the scene. The question is whether lethal force was justified. At the same time, the citys Police Commission has struck a compromise on body cameras. Last night, commissioners decided officers will be allowed to review footage before making statements about use of force incidents. But each case will be up to the discretion of the police chief. The issue of when and if officers can review footage has been a source of tension between the police union and Civil Liberties organizations. Happening today, oakland vice mayor Rebecca Kaplan is taking steps to prevent gun thefts in oakland. Rebecca kaplan will introduce an ordinance to require guns left in cars to be locked and out of sight.
